The West Country region

Trevone Bay is a beautiful coastal village in North Cornwall which is set just outside the vibrant picturesque fishing village of Padstow. Trevone has it all: a stunning family friendly beach (lifeguard patrolled between May - Sept), surf shop featuring a café/diner overlooking the bay, local farm shop stocked with quality local produce and a village pub which organises fetes, BBQ's and entertainment throughout the summer. The beach is ideal for swimming, surfing and paddle boarding and there are magnificent coastal walks towards Harlyn Bay or the coastal path into Padstow. The natural rock pool offers safe swimming for children and is also a family favourite crabbing spot!

Nearby are attractions to cater for all tastes such as Crealy Adventure Park, speed boat rides from Padstow harbour, sailing and waterskiing just over the water in Rock, Trevose Golf Course and the world famous delights of Rick Stein's many eateries in Padstow.

Many unique festivals are still upheld by the local community in Padstow. may day or obby oss day, a ritual that dates back some 600 years is a must .

The nearby area is often referred to as "seven bays for seven days" with the beaches of Porthcothan, Treyarnon, Harlyn, Constantine, Mother iveys, Boobies and Trevone being all within a stones throw of each other.

The surrounding area has much to offer, a short drive will take you to the famous Eden project. Newquay is some 10 miles away via the stunning coast road and Port Issac made famous by Doc Martin is a short drive away. The market town of Wadebridge is some 7 miles distant offering shops , pubs , Restaurants, twin cinema .

The camel trial is a scenic cycle /walking trail that runs from Padstow through Wadebridge and onto Bodmin , cycles can be hired from Padstow or Wadebridge. probably the most beautiful cycle trail in the country.
