About the home

Hobsons Choice is a lovely clean and well equipped park home ideally situated for exploring the beautiful north Cornwall coast.

There are seven sandy bays very close all linked by the stunning National Trust coastal footpaths. Padstow is 5 miles away and the village of St Merryn 2 miles.

This is an ideal location for outdoor lovers, surfers, cyclists, walkers, golfers, riders and sight seeing.

Newquay and Truro are a short distance as are The Eden Project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Facilities

The park home is only five years old and provides spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation for up to seven people.
There is a well equipped kitchen diner with all the appliances you would expect from a quality home. The large lounge has comfortable seating ,a gas fire and television with freeview channels.
There is a shower room with toilet and wash facilities as well as a bathroom with the same facilities.
The three double bedrooms and one single all have wardrobes and are supplied with duvets and pillows.
The heating and hot water are supplied via a gas boiler.

Further details outdoors:
There is a good sized enclosed garden mainly laid to lawn. The driveway and garage can park three cars. A barbecue set,chairs, sunloungers, table and sun shade are available.

The garden is open to the sun all day and into the evening and provides a calm and relaxing area .

£100 deposit required to secure booking. Remainder to be paid six weeks before arrival.

The north Cornwall coast is steeped in history and been a traditional holiday area enjoyed by many generations. The Atlantic coastline is breathtakingly beautiful with some of the finest sandy coves and bays you will see anywhere. There really are seven bays for seven days.

Besides the fantastic beaches and coastal scenery the leisure and sporting attractions ,all within easy drivable distance, are many and varied. The famous fishing port of Padstow, renowned for it's mayday celebrations and Rick Steins famous fish restaurant is only 5 miles away.

The beautiful cathedral city of Truro is close as is the livelier renowned surfing town of Newquay. The Eden Project is only 15 miles away along with the Lost Gardens of Heligan. St Ives and the famous Tate Gallery are down the coast as is Tintagel famed as King Arthur's castle.

The Padstow / St Merryn area

Hobsons Choice is on the St Merryn holiday village that has a bar, restaurant and tennis courts. It is a family friendly quiet site well landscaped and safe.

The village of St Merryn is only 2 miles away. It has a post office, garage, pubs, deli, fish and chip shop and general stores. The Cornish Inn has recently been taken over by Rick Stein and is a lovely traditional pub with great food.

There are riding stables close by and the walking is excellent.

The area is blessed with a choice of sandy bays and a stunning coastline. The beaches are life guarded and a delight for young and old alike. Surfing and body boarding are major activities in the area with plenty of hire shops and surf schools.
