The Bays is a privately owned newly brick built bungalow situated in a small cul de sac on the popular St Merryn Holiday Village and is within minutes drive of the renowned 7 Bays for 7 Days, perfect for lazy days relaxing on the unspoilt sandy beaches or surfing the Atlantic waves.
The Bays is of contemporary design with vaulted ceilings, concealed downlighting and is well equipped with comfortable modern furniture and is ideally suited for a family or couples.
The sheltered enclosed sunny patio garden is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine at the end of a busy day on the beach or clifftop walking.

There is an open plan lounge dining room and kitchen which has wood laminate floor and leads to the garden which works well for modern holiday accommodation. It has full oil fired central heating with dual zone programming for the living and bedroom areas making it a comfortable retreat in all weathers. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes, chests of drawers and bedside lighting. The bathroom has a bath with electric shower over.

Conditions
A small well behaved dog or cat is welcome but should not be allowed on furniture or beds. Extra charge of £25 per pet per week,. Strictly no smoking inside the property.
Refundable breakages deposit of £100 is required with the final payment, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).
£100 deposit per week is required at the time of booking with the balance payable at least 4 weeks before the holiday.

Cornwall has become one of the most popular holiday destinations because of it's stunning rugged coastline and beautiful countryside yet there are many quaint villages, coves, harbours and activities within easy reach.
There are many historical sites across Cornwall including Tintagel Castle, along the North Coast, King Arthur's legendary castle with its spectacular clifftop location and In Penazance you can visit St Michaels Mount, the world famous 14th century castle and The Minack Theatre, world famous cliff top open air theatre with stunning views. For kids young and old The Flambards Experience at Helston is a must, rated as 'The Best Day of the Week' come rain or shine.
The Padstow / St Merryn area
St Merryn holiday village is located on the outskirts of St Merryn in an area of natural outstanding beauty. The local area is known as '7 Bays for 7 days' because of the many beautiful unspoilt beaches and bays in the local area. The area is surrounded by quiet, peaceful countryside with many breathtaking views. There is a sports bar, cabaret bar with nightly entertainment in high season and a fish a chip takeaway. St Merryn is 3 miles south of Padstow and 12 miles north of Newquay and is within easy reach of most other parts of Cornwall including St Austell and the quaint fishing village of Mevagissey on the south coast.
For experienced or novice surfers there are many local beaches which are renowned for their excellent surfing with international contests held at Fistral Beach, Newquay. Hire surfboards, body boards and wetsuits from local surf shops or bring your own. Many of the local beaches have lifeguards throughout the season and there is a surf school at Harlyn Bay.
Nearby Watergate Bay is the home of the well known surf academy which also hosts events in other water sports including kite surfing, great to watch. Watergate Bay is also the location of Jamie Olivers restaurant 'Fifteen'.
Padstow - locally known as Padstein is the home of Rick Stein's famous seafood restaurant along with Stein's bistro at St Petroc's hotel and his fish and chip shop along the quayside. There are many other restaurants and traditional pubs serving good food in Padstow.
Ripley's restaurant in St Merryn is owned and run by top chef Paul Ripley who boasts the coveted '1 Michelin star'.
Locally in St Merryn you will also find 'The Farmers Arms' traditonal pub with restaurant and carvery and 'The Cornish Arms' also a traditonal pub serving food and owned by Rick Stein. For award winning fish and chips try 'Fryer Tucks' in St Merryn, eat in or take away. Enjoy a cappuccino or cornish pasty at the deli/bakery in St Merryn.
At nearby Harlyn Bay is the Harlyn Inn pub and restaurant with its popular carvery.
There are many activities in the area including the famous Eden Project, approx 30 minutes away, and The Lost Gardens of Heligan at Lands End.
If you enjoy cycling why not try The Camel Trail from Padstow to Bodmin, 28 miles. Great fun for all the family. Cyc.le hire including tandems, baby seats and child carriages to suit all ages can be hired in Padstow.
If you fancy catching your own dinner fishing trips are available from Padstow Harbour.
Take the ferry across the Camel Estuary from Padstow to Rock, upmarket sailing venue, and walk along the sands to Daymer Bay, great for windsurfing, and further on to the surfing beach of Polzeath. A lovely walk.
Have a stroll around bustling Padstow Harbour and relax by the Harbour front with a glass of wine or a cappuccino whilst watching the world go by.
Visit the pretty fishing village of Port Isaac, less than 30 minutes drive, the home of Doc Martin with its harbourside cafes and pub.
If golf is your passion there are several golf courses in the area the closest being Trevose Golf club only 2 miles away.
If you fancy a visit to The Scilly Isles, you can catch a flight from Newquay Airport, approx 6 miles away.
Dairyland Farm World in Newquay is an all weather attraction with entertainment for all ages and Newquay Zoo is home to a number of big cat species.
Crealy Adventure Park at St Issey, nr Wadebridge with indoor and outdoor attractions including the Toddler zone and new rollercoaster plus other exciting rides.
Holywell Bay Fun Park with free entry and free parking has a variety of action packed attractions including its huge maze, bumper boats, go-karts and more.
