This lovely, fantastically-located, and comfortable apartment in the beautiful city of Padova (Padua) is the perfect base for exploring Northern Italy - or simply enjoying a relaxing city break in this romantic, historic town.

Padua has great transport links for towns across Northern and Central Italy, including: Venice, Verona, Vicenza, Bologna, Ferrara, Ravenna, Brescia, Milan, Como, Florence, Perugia, Lucca, Pisa, Siena and Rome.

This spacious and stylish apartment is located in a modern and well-serviced apartment block in the heart of Padua. It is ideal for couples or 2-3 people sharing.

As well as its central location - just 200m from the Prato della Valle Metrobus (Tram) stop - the apartment has plenty of great features, including:

As well as being only a stone's throw ( 200 mt, 180yard ) from the nearest Tram/Metrobus stops Prato della Valle or Cavalletto ) the apartment is only a short walk ( 200 mt ) from the atmospheric Prato della Valle square, which boasts a bustling local market every Saturday, and the beautiful Basilicas of Sant' Antonio and Santa Guistina.

Plus, on the doorstep (all within easy walking distance) you will find:

Padua is the setting for William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew and is also the city Romeo was banished to from Verona in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Its famous 800-year-old University is renowned for its connection with its former lecturer, Galileo Galilei.

Padua stands on the Bacchiglione River, which once surrounded the city's walls like a moat. A dense network of arcaded streets open out on to large piazze and many bridges cross the various branches of the Bacchglione, adding to the historic, romantic charm of the city.

To the city's South lie the Euganean Hills, praised by Lucan and Martial, Petrarch, Ugo Foscolo, and Shelley.
