About the home

Villa Barchessa is an elegant two-story apartment that is part of an historic villa surrounded by wonderful gardens. It sleeps eight people. From Villa Barchessa you will enjoy an enchanting view of the garden. Villa Barchessa is 350 square meters (3770 square feet). It features a private swimming pool, a private patio, a private garden, air conditioning (please read description below to check in which rooms the units are installed), winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
You will be roughly 7 km (4.3 miles) from Piombino Dese, where you will find restaurants, shops and public transportation. You will find the closest restaurant at 1 km (roughly 1100 yards) and a grocery store at 500 meters (550 yards). You will reach Villa Barchessa from the parking area without having to climb any steps.
To stay at Villa Barchessa you will need a car. You will be able to park it inside the entrance gate.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is 6 meters (20 feet) large by 10 meters (33 feet) long, 1.5 meters (5 feet) deep. The swimming pool has a sinuous shape. The swimming pool area is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella, sun loungers and an external shower. It is partly shaded by a gazebo. The pool is open from the beginning of May until the beginning of October.
Patio
The patio is partly shaded by a characteristic porch. It is equipped with a table and chairs. From the patio you will enjoy a splendid view of the garden.
Garden
The garden is equipped with a table, chairs, a sun umbrella and sun loungers. Here you will also find a portable barbecue. The garden is occasionally crossed by the gardener.
First FloorLiving Room 1
The first living room is paved with wood. The furnishings are elegant and bright. The furnishings include two sofas and two armchairs. In this room you will find a satellite television, a DVD player and a CD player with FM radio. The room has four windows. It is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Dining Room
You will be able to enter the dining room from the living room. The dining table can accommodate eight guests.
Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a four-burner gas cooker, an electric oven, a refrigerator with freezer, a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an Italian-style coffee-maker, a toaster and a kettle. The kitchen has a window.
Bedroom 1 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the first bedroom from the corridor. The floor is paved with elegant wood. The ceiling has characteristic exposed wood beams. The furnishings are elegant and refined. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The furnishings include a wood sofa and a desk. The room has two windows. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet and a bathtub with fixed shower head.
Laundry room

Bedroom 2
You will be able to enter the second bedroom from the corridor. The bedroom has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 3
You will be able to enter the third bedroom from the second living room. It has two twin beds (80 cm/32 inches). From the bedroom you will be able to enter the small balcony with a view of the garden and of surrounding countryside through a French door. The room has a window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit.
Bedroom 4 with en-suite bathroom
You will be able to enter the fourth bedroom from the corridor. The floor is paved with wood. The room has a matrimonial bed (160 cm/62 inches, wider than a queen-size bed). The room has a window. The bedroom is equipped with an air conditioning/heating unit. This bedroom has an en-suite bathroom, equipped with a washbasin, a toilet, a bathtub with fixed shower head and a hairdryer.

Facilities

Further details indoors:
On the left side of the landing there is a double bedroom with a queen bed and a bath en suite (tub/fixed shower head), private sitting room with sofa, writing-desk and wardrobe.

On the right side of the landing, you enter a hallway that leads to the dining room and a well-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher and toaster).

Both the dining room and the hallway lead into the large living room, which has six windows on three sides and is furnished with a big sofa, two easy-chairs, four arm-chairs and a chaise lounger. This room is equipped with an open bar of spirits and liqueurs, TV, stereo CD and DVD player. Returning again to the landing, wooden stairs lead to the upper floor.

At the end of the hallway along the wooden hand made balcony, three doors lead to the other bedrooms.

The first is a double bedroom with a queen bed, writing-desk, three chairs and two chests of drawers. Passing the walk-through closet supplied with fitted cupboard, there is the en suite bathroom (tub/fixed shower head).

The second door leads to a double bedroom with queen bed, chest of drawers, wardrobe and easy-chair.

The third door leads to a sitting room with satellite TV and CD player, sofa and writing desk that leads to the last bedroom, a large room with twin beds, easy-chair, three chairs, wardrobe and two chests of drawers. These two bedrooms share a bathroom (tub/fixed shower head) which is reached through the sitting room.

Further details outdoors:
Close to the main building, in a garden separated from the main park and reserved for the guests, there is a swimming pool (9 x 6 m, 1,60 m deep, open May 1st through October 1st) surrounded by oleanders, roses and hydrangeas.

The garden is complimented by a patio, a wooden table, ten chairs, six deck-chairs and a barbeque/grill. A dressing room with pool towels (changed twice a week), extra chairs and a small refrigerator is accessible from the private garden.

Other amenities are a soccer field (inside the park) and three mountain bikes. There is an ample parking by the apartment entrance.

Within 30 min from the villa, you can reach 5 different golf courses. Each course is located in different landscapes, from the hills to the plain, providing a high range of difficulty levels and panoramas to enjoy. Special green fees offers are available for our customers.

The agricultural, commercial and booty riches, as well as the construction of Renaissance and public buildings, most of them designed by Andrea Palladio, contributed to make this region so incredibly beautiful. Nowadays, after decades of crisis, the region of Veneto, also thanks to the small and medium industries, has become one of the richest regions in Europe.

The Padova / Piombino Dese area

Piombino Dese is the only town in Italy washed by 5 rivers: Sile, Zero, Dese, Draganziolo and Marzanego.

The town attracts many tourists every year because of the noteworthy Palladian Villa Cornaro, built in 1553. This impressive monument mesmerises art and music lovers, thanks to the innumerable exhibitions and concerts set up inside the Villa and the garden.

Good starting point to visit the major cities in Veneto, like Venice, Padua, Castelfranco Veneto and Camposampiero. A great mixture of art, culture, history and nature...

In Piombino Dese, don't miss the lovely "Festa dei Peri" at the end of June. That's the celebration of the Most Holy Peter and Paul.
