Welcome to Kaya Kwanga – a beautiful villa set in tranquil countryside near the village of Paderne. A perfect place to relax, escape from the bustle of the towns and just 'chill out'. The villa is surrounded by countryside and is furnished to the highest standard. The grounds are filled with olive, orange and almond trees and grape vines. The villa is very private and the only sounds are the abundant bird life. Dine alfresco on the shady deck overlooking the garden and pool, or watch the sun set from the upstairs bar, with spectacular views across the Algarve countryside. We have recently extended this villa by adding a penthouse and bar to the first floor. The villa has 4 good sized bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a big cozy relaxing lounge with a large veranda, a dining room, superb upstairs bar and sun terrace, drinks deck, study (equipped with printer and wireless network), fully equipped kitchen and private pool large gardens. Superb beaches are just a 20 minute drive.

The Algarve region
The Villa is very peaceful and tranquil but all the action is not far away!
There are superb beaches within a 20 minute drive. Everywhere is quickly and easily accessible. All the beaches are well serviced with restaurants, snack bars, sunbeds, umbrellas, banana rides, jet skis, watersports, etc. There are excellent restaurants on most beach fronts.
Hiking trails are laid in the hills surrounding the villa, with one of the most beautiful passing right below the garden. In the evening it is very pleasant to have a walk in the countryside around the villa which is beautiful and completely safe.
Shopping – for the Shopaholics - The Algarve Shopping Centre near Guia is about a 20 minute drive. This is shoppers heaven with an abundance of shops – ladies and mens fashions, children's cloths, book shops, etc. There is also a bowling alley and a cinema.
Children's activities: Zoo Marine is a great aquatic park at Guia. There is a super Dolphin Show and Parrot, Seal and Bird of Prey Shows. There are also 2 swimming pools, a small theme park and aquarium museum. There are 2 large water slide parks along the N125 – Slide and Splash is west of Lagoa and Aqualand near Albufeira. Krazyworld is a smallish Zoo near Algoz which has shows with snakes and crocodiles, pony rides, a petting farm and a restaurant.
Other Activities – Go-karting can be found at Almancil. The Val do Lobo Tennis Academy offers court hire and coaching for adults and children. Centro Hipico Cavalos is a riding centre for horse-riding at all levels. Mountain bikes can be hired at the Ciclo Evento in Albufeira.
The Algarve is Golfers heaven! Many Golf course can be found in the surrounding area, probably the most famous area being Vilamoura which is just 30 minutes drive away. Balaia is a 9-hole executive Golf Course with Driving Range and Golf Academy. Lessons are given in English, Portuguese and German. Club and Trolly Hire available. Handicap certificate and appropriate dress necessary. Pine Cliffs is a 9-hole course offering a world famous and challenging cliff top course. Strict dress code. Driving range, academy club hire and trolly available. Vilamoura has 4, 18-hole courses, with a fifth under construction. Driving Range, club, trolley hire available.
A car is essential. Cars can be booked with any of the major companies (AVIS, Eurocar, etc) over the Internet. Easy Jet offer special deals with Eurocar. Faro airport is about 40 minutes away and directions will be provided when booking is confirmed. The Algarve has a good system of motorways and nowhere is too far to reach. Lisbon is about a 2 hour drive and it is just over a hour´s drive to Spain.
The town of Paderne is about 5 minutes away. Albufeira 12km, Messines 6km, Silves 20km, Guia (Algarve Shopping Centre) 15km, Zoo Marine 16km, Slide and Splash 20km.
Paderne area
Paderne is a typically quaint Portuguese village with a number of small shops, bars and restaurant. We particularly like Arcos Restaurant (you will see the sign for it on your right as you drive through Paderne. The remains of a 12th Century Moorish castle overlook the village (Castelo de Paderne). You have everything you need in Paderne - a chemish, small supermarket, church, newsagents, postoffice and numerous bars, snack bars and restaurants.
How to get there
The closest Airport to the Villa is Faro, which is 40 minutes by car. Easy Jet offers cheap flights to Faro from the majority of the UK Airports. Europcar has a Partnership with Easy Jet.

Further details indoors: All the bedrooms in the Villa have built in wardrobes, very comfy beds, fans, bedside tables, drawers, etc. The Lounge is a bright, spacious cosy room with 2 relaxing sofas and 2 relaxing rocking chairs, coffee table, TV, DVD, etc. There are 2 patio doors in the lounge which open onto a terrace equipped with tables and chairs. The Dining room has seating for 6 and a drinks cabinet. The Dining Room opens onto the Drinks Deck which has stunning views across the Algarve Countryside, and seating for 6 with cushions. The Kitchen is fully equipped with tasteful, cheerful crockery and glass ware.
The stairs lead up to the Bar on the first floor, with stunning views across the Paderne Countryside. The bar is equipped with Bar, Bar stools, bar fridge, 2 relaxing chairs and a coffee table The Bar opens onto the Covered Terrace outside with comfy wooden furniture for Sun-Downers. The covered terrace leads onto a sun terrace equipped with Sun Chairs and umbrellas! On the first floor we also have a luxurious en-suite bedroom, with sliding doors out to the sun Terrace. The TV Room upstairs is a perfect retreat for the kids with it´s own TV, Satellite TV system and DVD player. For the adults who may need to touch base the office while on holiday (hopefully not too much!) the TV room has a desk and a printer available. The house has a wireless internet connection as well.
Kasamaria Agency will meet you in Paderne and will guide you to our villa.The Agency will provide you with the keys to the villa and will help you with any questions you have on the accommodation during your stay. The Agency is English and Portuguese speaking.
There is a gas fire in the lounge and fans in all the bedrooms. The windows have wooden shutters and curtains. The bedrooms are very spacious with extra comfy matresses to ensure a good nights sleep. We have provided a sofa bed in the upstairs TV Room with linens.
We have provided a very useful tourist file in the lounge with details on the area, and we have included our "Top Ten" restaurants in the area, together with useful hints on what to do during your stay

Further details outdoors: The gardens are beautifully landscaped with a variety of fruit trees and vines. The plot adjoining the garden, which belongs to the house, is a secluded olive and almond grove. All the upstairs rooms have large windows with a stunning view of the hills and countryside. The downstairs dining room and drinks deck are also open with fabulous views.
The downstairs drinks deck has wooden furniture which sits 6 and there are steps down to the BBQ area and private pool. The Upstairs bar has huge sliding doors which open onto the upstairs drinks deck which has wooden table and chairs for 6 people and leads onto the sun terrace which is equipped with sun loungers, cushions, a drinks table, chairs and umbrellas. There is an ample sized swimming pool with a sun deck (equipped with tables, chairs, umbrellas, loungers, beach towels and lounger cushions).
The villa is at the end of a quiet country road, so there is NO traffic. The only sounds around the villa are the abundant birdlife.
