The house, dating back to 1700 has been faithfully restored with terracotta floors, exposed wooden beams and traditional furniture. The property is set among organic olive groves in the hills just outside the medieval hilltop town of Paciano, near the Tuscan border.
Fontececi has been restored maintaining the original style with terracotta floors, exposed woodden beams and traditional funiture. The very large stone walls keep it wonderfully cool in the summer months. Underfloor heating and a fire place are available for thermal comfort in the winter season.The living room has very comfortable sofa and armchairs, a TV with DVD player and a choice of DVD's and a large pool table. A corridor leads to the large eat-in kitchen, to the main bedroom and to the single bedroom.
Fontececi sleeps three persons comfortably and is children friendly. Wifi is available. The flat has a large outdoor table with chairs and screens in all windows. The house is part of a 20 acres organic farm producing an excellent extra-verging olive oil.
The village of Paciano is only 10 minutes walking distance and 15 mins drive from Lake Trasimeno and at short driving distance from Città della Pieve. Fontececi is wonderfully located for sightseeing in both Tuscany and Umbria.
Excursions to Orvieto, Città della Pieve, Cortona Todi, Florence, Perugia, Rome, Montepulciano, Assisi, Siena and Arezzo are all within easy reach either by train or by car.

Guests will be accommodated in the ground floor of the house, they will have the house for themselves all of the time. The living room is very large with a fireplace, comfortable seating and a pool table.
A corridor leads to the large eat-in kitchen. By the corridor a small bedroom with bunk beds. The main double bedroom and the bathroom are separated from the cooking-dining area by an archway with a heavy curtain to divide the two rooms. All rooms have doors opening to the outside area where a spacious stone terrace shaded by two impressive mulberry trees overlooks the quiet and peaceful valley.
The flat has a large outdoor table with chairs and screens in all windows.
This property has no extra costs to pay locally (except for heating).

Iin fall Eurochocolate (Perugia), fresh olive oil degustation in many small towns and the Truffle Market Exibition (Fabro).
The medieval village of Paciano is at 5 minutes walk from the property and at short driving distance from Tuscany.
Paciano offers a selection of excellent restaurants, groceries. The 17th-century Palazzo Baldeschi,the 17th-century built for the Abbot Giacomo Baldeschi in local stone and recently renovated, hosts the Naturalistic Museum.
