The Limassol District

The temparature in Limassol is about 10 degrees more than UK with more than 300 days of sunshine per year and very little rain. The ancient town of Curium is a must, with its still active ampitheatre and King Richard's castle at Kolossi.

Golfers have a choice of two new complexes within 30 minutes while shoppers have the old town with its pedestrian areas, markets and street cafes.


Pachna / Ayios Ambrosios area

Ayios Ambrosios is a small village with one shop and one taverna and mostly older residents. Nearby is the
beautiful village of Omodhos and a little further is Platres with its alpine setting in pine trees.

Skiing is possible on the Troodos mountains during the winter but is very subject to the weather conditions at the time.

Most of the nearby villages have a taverna run by the owner and his family and are well recommended for their friendliness and local cuisine.

Easyjet fly from several UK airports.

A car is essential, so the owner will arrange one if required.
