About the home

Canna Villa, 10 minutes east of Kyrenia, is one of 7 detached villas in a cul-se-sac, each with its own private garden and pool, and is fully airconditioned (also with central heating and a log fire for winter months). It has 2 double/twin bedrooms,which are en-suite,and a twin bedroom and a double bedroom sharing the guest shower room. The kitchen, living room and two of the bedrooms open onto a large, shady veranda which runs along the south facing back of the house, and is like an extra room for relaxing and eating outside, whilst overlooking the pool, the beautifully mature, colourful and very private garden, also the mountains. There is also a roof terrace with shade, a table and chairs, and lovely mountain views.

The master bedroom, and fourth bedroom, both with en suite shower rooms, have two 3ft beds which are joined together to make one 6ft bed, or can be used as two singles.
The central heating and log fire make it warm and comfortable in winter.
The large shady veranda has plenty of space for sitting and dining, with lovely views of the garden and mountains beyond.

There is a roof terrace with lovely mountain views. The garden is beautifully mature, colourful and very private and the large veranda is like an extra room for relaxing or eating outside.

The price chart is for 2 persons, with extra price for more than 2, EXCEPT in July and August when the price quoted is for 4 persons, with extra price for more than 4.

The Kyrenia region

Northern Cyprus can easily be explored from the far end of the eastern pan-handle, called the Karpaz, with its deserted, long, sandy beaches, wild donkeys and spring flowers, to the invigorating climb to the Crusader castles, with their breathtaking panoramic views, and beyond to the remote west, home of the setting sun, with its extensive citrus plantations. Add to this the warm and friendly Turkish Cypriots and you have an ideal holiday destination.

The Ozankoy area

Ozankoy Village, half a mile from the villa, has several good restaurants, a butcher and also a convenience shop, open all hours. There are three sandy beaches nearby, with restaurants, sunbeds etc.
Explore Girne (Kyrenia) or just sit and watch the world go by from one of the many waterside restaurants beneath the crescent of converted tall carob warehouses that form an imposing backdrop to this most romantic and beautiful of harbours, not forgetting its castle that contains a salvaged Roman boat with all its wares.

Fly from UK to Ercan Airport where hire car companies will pick you up for free if you hire a car from them. Half an hour drive to Ozankoy.
Flights to Ercan, via a stop down in Turkey, with Turkish Airlines (www.thy.com) and Pegasus Airlines (www.flypgs.com) from Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester.

Fly from UK to Larnaca Airport in Southern Cyprus where we can arrange for you to be met and taken through the border to the North - one and a half hours. Approx taxi price £35 each way if you hire a car from them.
