Villa Zefyros ( 4 The Grove), is one of 5 family-owned villas beautifully situated in an olive grove, around a large shared swimming pool, 10 mins drive to the east of Kyrenia (Girne). Three air-conditioned bedrooms ensure comfort in the summer months, and the large open-plan living areas open on to a patio, looking over the mature shady gardens. A lovely base for enjoying peace and tranquility by the pool, or for walking or visiting the many ancient historic sites. Also for swimming, diving or boating around the many safe, sandy beaches the area has to offer.

The Kyrenia District
Northern Cyprus is one of the few holiday destinations where you can find still space. Whether you are on one of the lovely sandy beaches, swimming in the safe, warm Mediterranean or up in the Kyrenia range of mountains, walking or climbing the 3 Crusader castles, you will sense the empathy of the area. Kyrenia (Girne) has a wonderful sheltered harbour, steeped in history. It is guarded by a superb castle, built by the Phoenicians, which is in excellent condition and is well worth a visit. It also contains the shipwreck of the earliest trading vessel yet discovered (sunk in 309 BC and found in 1965 by a sponge fisherman, under the sea bed between Turkey and Northern Cyprus). Boats are available for hire to visit and barbecue on the many turtle beaches. There are plenty of shops selling a vast range of goods, both local and imported. The Turkish people are warm and friendly and will help you enjoy your stay.
Ozankoy area
Our local village - Ozankoy - is within walking distance and has a good selection of restaurants to choose from, where you can sample the excellent meze meals or one of the many meat or vegetable kebabs. Takeaway meals are also available. There are also shops for last minute purchases. Scuba diving, sailing, water-skiing, fishing and golf are also available in the area.
How to get there
Fly to Ercan Airport in Northern Cyprus and take a taxi or a hire car to Ozankoy. Transit 35 mins. Flights with Cyprus Turkish Airlines on 0207 930 4851. From London Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Manchester. - However, the best value (at present), is to fly from most major and regional airports to Larnaca in Southern Cyprus. A taxi (which we can pre-book for you) will take you through the border into Northern Cyprus. Approx transit time 75 minutes.
