The luxury apartment is one of just 12 in a small development built in 2003 to the highest standards. It includes air conditioning, a large shared pool, a safety deposit box and a TV with DVD player. The property benefits from both sea and mountain views and has a large private shaded terrace for outdoor dining in the Mediterranean climate. It is set amongst olive trees and well kept gardens in a quiet and peaceful location that is ideal for couples and families alike. Montana Park is located just five minutes drive from the nearest beach and is within easy reach of many other beaches on the unspoilt North Cyprus coast. The apartment is situated on the outskirts of Ozankoy (a traditional Cypriot village), very close to two of the jewels of North Cyprus - Kyrenia and Bellapais. There is plenty to do and see in the area including many historical sites. Nicosia, the divided capital of Cyprus, is also an easy drive.

The Kyrenia District
Kyrenia is the main town on the North Cyprus coast and is about ten minutes drive from the apartment. It is a bustling community that provides all of the amenities you should require but at the same time it is not very commercialised. The historic town has a harbour and castle as well as numerous shops, restaurants and bars. Other close attractions include the fairytale St Hilarion Castle and Buffavento Castle with its panoramic views. The North Cyprus coast is largely undeveloped and offers a host of beautiful beaches within easy driving distance. Turtle beach, a 15 minute drive, is home to the nesting Loggerhead and Green turtles between May and October and is a lovely unspoilt sandy beach. More commercialised beaches offering some facilities are available at the Escape and Acapulco beaches. The area boasts a huge number of high quality and reasonably priced restaurants. Locations range from Kyrenia centre and harbour, to beach-side restaurants to others sited in the mountains. Many offer stunning sunsets which are the perfect way to end a sunny Mediterranean day. A championship quality golf course is within a 15 minutes drive. Farther afield one can visit Nicosia, the only divided city in the world; park near the Kyrenia gate and follow the blue line around all of the main sights in the Turkish part of the city or cross over to the Greek side. Historic Famagusta is worth a visit along with the Roman ruins of nearby Salamis with its spectacular amphitheatre. A day drive will take you to the Karpaz peninsula with its turquoise sea and deserted sandy beaches.
Ozankoy area
The apartment is situated in the outskirts of Ozankoy, one of the traditional villages of Northern Cyprus. The village is within easy walking distance and has shops as well as a number of good restaurants. The neighbouring village is Bellapais (which literally means “beautiful place”) that is famous for its magnificent Gothic Abbey and which also has some excellent restaurants with views over the whole of the Kyrenia area. Most of the restaurants will provide a free taxi service for diners. Bellapais is a short drive but the more energetic can walk up the old crusader road between the two villages. Excellent supermarkets are now available throughout the Kyrenia area and four are situated within five minutes drive. Most people in Northern Cyprus speak excellent English.
How to get there
Either fly via Turkey to Ercan Airport or to Larnaca in Southern Cyprus and cross the border to the North (which is now very easy). Transfer times by car are approx 45 mins from Ercan and 75 mins from Larnaca. Transfers from either airport can be arranged if required. Car hire can also be arranged if required. Driving is simple and is on the left hand side of the road as per the UK.

Further details indoors: The apartment is furnished to a high standard, with Italian marble floors throughout. The whole apartment is air conditioned with fly-screens fitted to opening windows.
The kitchen has fitted cupboards and worktops, cooker and extractor fan, fridge freezer, stainless steel sink, washing machine, microwave, toaster and kettle.
The living area is equipped with a TV and DVD player, an iPod docking station with speakers and a CD/radio.
There is an en suite to the master bedroom and a family shower room. The main bedroom has a large double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds; both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes.
All electric power sockets are UK compatible (no need for adaptors).

Basic welcome pack provided on arrival; quotes can be provided for a more comprehensive pack if required. Our local agent will meet you on your first day to give you information on the apartment and on the local area. They are also available in case you encounter any problems.
Weekly clean and change of towels and bedding.
Please bring own beach/pool towels.
Conditions
In order to secure the booking, a 25% non refundable deposit is required, with the outstanding amount to be paid no later than 8 weeks before the departure date. A security bond of £100.00 is required to cover any damage, loss or breakages and the cost of electricity used during the stay. The balance will be returned, following a report from the owners agent within 2 weeks following your departure. It is possible to book the apartment for additional days, should you so wish. This will be charged at the relevant daily rate. Special rates will apply for longer lettings; please contact the owner for details. Smoking only permitted on the outside terrace.
