"Relaxing but close to city centre"
A lovely apartment right on the river. Quiet and peaceful but only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. The apartment was beautifully fitted out and it was a genuine 'home away from home'. K… More

"A wonderful place to make memories."
This was our home for two weeks and it truly felt like a home. We loved the decor, the views from our back patio and how close it was to all of the sights in town. Words that describe "Water Mill" cozy, happy, spotless, up to date, shower and bath tub, a hidden gem.

"Wonderful place in a PERFECT location"
We stayed here a week in April; the apartment was exactly as represented and was as nice as all the reviews suggest. The landlords were terrific, offering restaurant and pub tips (we loved them all) and providing help with us getting in. The place was sparkling clean and everything was there that we needed (even a French press). What we mostly loved was the location. Not only was it a short walk (5 minutes) to the train station but only about 15 to the center of town. But additionally it was 5 minutes to the Thames Path, with lovely biking and walking or 5 minutes to the Oxford canal. For those of you not Oxford-wise (like us) it was on the best side of town, with less traffic, and lots of nature. Would love to come back some day. The only downside is that it is a small apartment, so having four large people (such as two couples) might be not as good for a long time.

"Excellent!!! Highly recommend it"
I spent some weeks with my family and I highly recommend it. It is beautifully decorated, well equipped and in an excellent location to visit Oxford. It is near the center and very close to the train station. But is situated in a very quite place with views to the river Thames. It is a lovely apartment and Karen and Gerrit were fantastic with us. I would not hesitate to return.

My partner and I spent a couple of days at Watermill over the New Year and had the most amazing time! The apartment is spacious and comfortable and the nearby canal provides a lovely setting for walks or drinks outside. It is also very well situated for getting into Oxford centre, only a 5-10 minute walk away, and very convenient for the train station. Karen was very helpful and accommodating and left us a lovely hamper of treats to enjoy during our stay! All in all I cannot recommend Watermill highly enough.

"Great apartment in an excellent location - would recommend it."
Enjoyed a 5-night stay during the October school holidays and used this apartment as a base to explore Oxford and London. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped - very comfy beds in particular. The location was great for us - 7 minute walk to the railway station and main shopping area. The terrace at the back is idyllic looking over the Thames. Perfect for our purposes - would recommend.

"Central flat by the Mill Stream"
Greatly enjoyed our too-short stay in this modern tastefully decorated and well kitted-out flat. Super mill-stream-side location with houseboats, herons and ducks, away from the City bustle yet within easy walk to College life, Tourist attractions, Shops and Station. Would definitely return - business or pleasure !

"This is a really cosy apartment to stay."
I was here with my wife and two children for six weeks and it was a great place to stay. We really enjoyed our stay. It is very close to the city center. The house is really cosy and the decoration is wonderful. Everything is quite new and works perfectly. The kitchen is great, we could perfectly cook there. It was also wonderful when you woke up in the morning and you could see the river, the boats and even some squarrels strolling around. In addition, The landlady was very kind and gave us lots of advice about what activities we could do there.
Definitely, I strongly recommend it.
