This apartment provides an ideal base with easy access to the centre of Oxford and local shops. Thackley End is a very well presented 1 bedroom property in the prime residential suburb of north Oxford (Summertown), 10 minutes from Oxford city centre and 5 minutes walk to local shops and restaurants. The property is attractively furnished in a modern style with wood floors throughout. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need. The bedroom has two comfortable single beds and a window overlooking quiet, private gardens.
There is a south facing patio area with outdoor table and chairs overlooking the gardens. Adjoining apartments are rented by professionals living and working in Oxford and the area is generally very quiet. The only disturbance to your mid morning coffee on the terrace is likely to come from visiting squirrels and the occasional duck from the pond in the next door gardens!

How to get there
Oxford is 1 hour from Heathrow airport and 1.5 hours from London. There is a regular bus service between London and Oxford and Heathrow airport and Oxford that runs every 10-20 minutes throughout the day and night.
You can also reach Oxford easily from Birmingham, Stansted and Luton airports.

We manage three apartments in this development; two one bedrooms and one two bedroom apartment. The location provides an ideal base whether you are visiting Oxford on vacation, work or study.
The city centre is 10 minutes away by bus, the nearest bus stop being just across the road from the apartment. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to the city centre.
The local shops in Summertown are just 5 minutes walk away. There are several supermarkets, restaurants and other facilities in Summertown.
