Further details
If the property is needed for a Sabbatical term I will negotiate on the rent though it will still be inclusive of bills as the time taken to change the names makes it not worthwhile.
Obviously the longer the let, the lower the daily rate, but this doesn't really kick in until after 8 weeks. A single week costs less than the total of 7 nights however.

Enquire nowThe Central England / Cotswolds / Oxfordshire region
Oxford is the home of the famous University but has many other attractions. There are world class museums, for example the Ashmolean and the Pitt Rivers as well as the Museum of the History of Science.
Also live classical music (details from the Oxford Playhouse) theatre and dance are often available.
The Cotswolds are easily accessed by train or bus and Woodstock with Blenheim Palace is only 25 minutes drive away.
Bath can be accessed by train and London Paddington is only 1 hour away.
The Oxford / Central Oxford area
Oxford needs no real description being famously beautiful as the City of Dreaming Spires, home to Brideshead Revisited and Inspector Morse.
You can tour the City on a rickshaw with Oxoncarts which is a unique and really fun way to see the city, particularly the back streets that you might otherwise miss, with the benefit of a knowledgeable guide.

Stayed here with 4 friends for a weekend get together. The house is very well appointed, comfortable and a little bit quirky! We LOVED the kitchen and diner area! It's in a great location for exploring Oxford and the area of Jericho was great for a relaxed evening out. Everything is within walking distance - even the station. There is no parking at the house but Pandora, her son and even her neighbors were all very helpful with advice and parking permits for the road. Would definitely recommend a stay. |

I came here with 5 ladies for a combined birthday/hen weekend celebration. It was the perfect antidote to souless modern apartments. The house has a real character and charm about it and you feel like it could be your own home straight away (and wish it could be!). The beds are comfy, especially the master bedroom which I was lucky enough to sleep in. Great shower in the ensuite too. There is a little garden though it was too chilly for us to be outside, but I guess it will be nice in the summer. The lounge is comfy and the kitchen has a great retro style seating area which seated of us comfortably. The best thing about it is the location - Jericho is lovely and a mere 2 mins away there are great bars and restaurants. We had a lovely walk and went punting on the river. Later on Sat night we went to a lovely restaurant round the corner on Walton Street called Branca - then to cocktail bars. A great place to stay with a group of friends for a chilled weekend, in a place you'll wish was your own home! A good place too for families too. Better than staying in a hotel I think - and the owner is truly lovely and very accomodating and friendly. We'll be back! |

I stayed here with friends (26-30) for a reunion weekend and didn't want to leave. It's a clean, charming house for up 7 to share comfortably, enjoy home-cooked meals, relax and unwind. Equipped with wifi and TV and music, we weren't missing anything. The furnishing was to a high finish and stylish standard, and the garden is an added bonus for sunny days, with it's own fresh herbs! Conveniently located in Oxford city's coolest corner - Jericho - it's no further than 2/3 minutes from the pubs, bars, restaurants and main attractions. Helpful yet hands-off owner, who answered all my enquiries, and returned the deposit promptly. At such great value for money, in a city full of over-priced hotels, we'll be returning... |

It is worth asking if you want a shorter stay as I am often flexible.
It is possible tho not ideal to have 7 people staying but it would mean 4 in one room and a surcharge of £30 per night.
If you want 1 night only and it is available I charge a supplement of £30 and in fact the quoted price is for 5 people (using the normal beds, 2 doubles and 1 single). The use of the extra futon will incur an extra charge of £30 per night so 7 would be from £250-380 pn. and if you are happy with a single futon, i can supply one for the living room +£30 per night.
Preferred payment is by bank transfer, cheque or cash on arrival but I also take Paypal tho charges will be deduced from the damage deposit (deposit will be £100 per rental on average, fully refundable in normal circumstances, forfeited in case of cancellation). 40% is payable in advance to secure the rental which is refunded in full if I receive 6 weeks notice of the cancellation. Balance payable 6 weeks prior to arrival. In the event of cancellation more than 6 weeks prior to arrival, refund in full less the Deposit of £100. Less than 6 weeks notice and any money paid will be forfeit tho if I re-let, I will refund you whatever I recoup, less the £100 deposit.
