This is a spacious, comfortable two-bedroom short let apartment that is very conveniently located in central Oxford but set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac. Fully furnished and equipped to a high standard this modern property is ideal for professional visitors and academics. Located only minutes walk from Said Business School, the Railway Station and the City Centre itself. Despite the central location the apartment can be classified as very quiet and accommodating.
The property benefits from two spacious and light bedrooms, one double and one twin and can sleep up to four people. Ideal for couples visiting Oxford with children with river walks close by. The apartment is on the second (top) floor of the building (no lift access) and has delightful views of the river from the small balcony. The apartment consists of a large living room with dining area, fully fitted and equipped kitchen and bathroom.

Osney Mill Marina is a private marina on a branch off the River Thames in Oxford, It is located south from the Botley Road down Mill Street and close to the site of Osney Abbey.
The marina is located on a 500m long island created in the Middle Ages to provide water for Osney Mill to the north, now disused. Access to the Thames is at the southern end of the marina.

"Clean, convenient and well-located"
Our flat was spotlessly clean and supplied with all amenities for long-term stay with family. Excellent location in Osney area with beautiful view of the river. Owner very pleasant and helpful.

"Quiet, comfortable, and convenient to Oxford centre"
The lady who met us on arrival could not have been more helpful and pleasant. We found this apartment to be very pleasant, spotlessly clean, warm, bright, well equipped and comfortable, in a very quiet location, but within an easy walk (15 mins) of the centre of beautiful Oxford. We used the apartment as our base for exploring Oxord and touring out to Bath, Jane Austen Country and Stratford-on-Avon, all of which are within a comfortable distance for a day visit. We were there during the Easter holidays. (I imagine the apartment complex may be busier in term time, and the nearby marina may be busier in the summer.) The apartment is more spacious than it looks in the website pictures; it was fine for our family of four. The stairs could be a difficulty for people with mobility problems, or with very small children, but were no problem for us. We liked the view of the river and marina from the balcony, with narrow boats accassionally passing up and down, and even saw a kingfisher one morning. There is a convenience store a few minutes walk away, but we were grateful for the tea and coffee making supplies provided, as we arrived so late that the shop was closed! We also appreciated the selection of books which are thoughtfully provided. We felt very much at home, and would definitely like to return if we were visiting Oxford in future.

"Comfy, central and safe - great for a family!"
We spent one week at Millbank with our children aged 8 and 6. The owner Victoria was very friendly and met us to show us around the apartment, with no complaints about our unexpectedly late arrival. The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos, with a great floor plan, spacious rooms (except the twin bedroom was a little small), and a lovely view over the river from the little balcony. The kitchen was very well equipped, there was great water pressure in the shower, and the heat worked well. It was so clean and comfortable that we invited another family over for drinks and dessert (it would have been more difficult to provide a full dinner as the dining table only seats 4).
It was helpful that extra toilet paper, light bulbs and laundry detergent were provided, along with a few basics like coffee, tea, salt and pepper. If you're from overseas, it would be worth asking how to lock the balcony door and work the stove and oven, which were unfamiliar to us. We couldn't get the volume on the TV to work; Victoria offered to come over to try to work it out for us but we didn't really need it so decided not to bother her. We found the beds a little hard but there were plenty of pillows.
The apartment is less than a 10-minute walk from a park with playground and from the train station, and barely more to the ice rink. You can be at the Oxford Castle and the centre of town in 15-20 minutes. There is a pub halfway up the street (although we didn't visit it) and a small convenience store and a couple of restaurants at or opposite the north end of the street (5 minutes away). You can easily get out to the tow paths by the river, just south of the apartment, which are great for jogging and cycling. The apartment has a reserved parking spot, but it is tight, and unfortunately no sign of other visitor parking.
We plan to go back to Oxford and will definitely stay at Millbank again.
