Off the hall is an additional toilet and a utility cupboard with a washer/ dryer and ironing facilities.

The Oxfordshire region of Central England is deservedly popular with visitors, as it offers a combination of stunning cities such as Oxford, Bath, Stratford and and Warwick. At the same time as some of England's most beautiful countryside including the Cotswolds.
The Cotswolds is a delightful area of outstanding natural beauty famous for its distinctive landscape of gentle hills, hidden valleys and its delightful market towns and villages. For many a Cotswold village represents the perfect English village.
The Oxford / Headington area
Blenheim Palace lies 8 miles away from Oxford.It is the home of the Duke of Marlborough since the 18th century and is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Oxford city comprises of a number of colleges that make up the university of Oxford, many are open to the public and offer a glimpse into university live.
There are a number of excellent museums such as the Ashmolean and the Pitts river museum.
Oxford offers a number of excellent restaurants including Raymond Blanc's restaurant Brasserie Blanc or the le Maison aux quat Saison outside of Oxford in Milton village..
Oxford also has a range of interesting shops including the " covered market " which offers hours of browsing.

Oxford has excellent road and rail transport links. It is 57 miles from London with a direct coach service that runs every 10 minutes, as well as a regular rail service.
Oxford is 49 miles from Heathrow airport and 78 miles from Gatwick airport with excellent coach services from both.
You can also easily reach Oxford from Birmingham, Stansted and Luton airports.
The apartment is 500 yards from the Marston road. Off Harberton Mead.
On regular bus routes to Oxford and London. There is an excellent bus service into Oxford, and the bus stop is very close. Travelling from Oxford use bus number 13, and ask for the Somerset pub on the Marston Road.
Alternatively it is a 15-20 minute walk to the centre of Oxford.

Easy access to town centre either via the bus or ~20 min walk. The apartment overlooks a park, which has great facilities for children. The apartment was quiet, comfortable and big enough for our family of 5. It even had two full bathrooms and a guest loo too. Sleeping for six would, however, require the lounge to be used as a room at night. The lounge, dining and kitchen are open plan. Wifi access was provided. |

We had a wonderful experience staying at the 3 McCabe Place apartment. The property is located right across from a beautiful park. It was very quiet and has a great view from all three balconies. The kitchen was easy to work in and nicely equipped. It has more than we expected in convenience and amenities. It is very close to Oxford City Centre and other places we wanted to visit in the Oxford area. We walked the neighborhood on several occasions, and enjoyed the area very much. There is a little corner market right up Marston Rd that stays open to the terribly convenient hour of 11pm. We'll be coming back if it is open when we go to England again. |
