Manor Farm Barn is a brand new converted barn in a superb rural location in the heart of the typically Oxfordshire village of Bletchingdon. It is just 15 minutes from the centre of the world-famous university town of Oxford, and only two miles from the 'Gateway to the Cotswolds', the village of Woodstock, home of historic Blenheim Palace. There is superb access into Oxford, to all the famous villages and sights of the beautiful Cotswolds, and also excellent transport links to and from London (and Heathrow Airport) in only 60mins on the M40 motorway. Manor Farm Barn was finished in 2013 and so everything in the property is brand new. The building is constructed from local honey-coloured Cotswold stone and is surrounded by Cotswold dry-stone walls.

Oxford and the Cotswolds are famous for its walks, cycle and horse rides and its idyllic English countryside. For foodies there are many great gastro pubs nearby with locally-sourced ingredients.

Manor Farm Barn has a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area with a table suitable for up to eight people. The utility area has all the modern amenities of fridge/freezer, dish washer, hob, oven and microwave, and washing machine and dryer.

Through the hallway, there is a large sitting room with big comfortable sofas, a widescreen TV, free wi-fi and plenty of books and maps and local information to get your teeth into. The barn has four bedrooms: one king size en suite; one double room; two twin rooms. There is a family bathroom and an additional guest loo downstairs. From both the sitting room and kitchen there are big double French doors leading out into a private lawned garden.

"Lovely family rental"

Just got back after a lovely week staying here. The place has just been done up and it immaculate. It's really comfortable but also child-friendly and a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. Met on arrival by Hugo, a nice 'English country gent' who showed us around, how to get on wifi etc, but didn't linger. We were lucky also to have excellent weather, in March!
