Nestled amongst the olive groves of the magnificent Ourika Valley lies Dar Tamazerte; a two storey spacious villa (363m2) with three bedrooms.The interior has been designed by a French designer and combines a contemporary Moroccan / European style with modern aminities.
The villa is situated on a development of 8 luxury villas set in 20 acres of beautifully landscaped sub tropical gardens.
There is a private swimming pool and on site a Hamman, massage room ( by appointment), gym, clay tennis court and golf practice area.

The Marrakech / Essaouira / Atlas Mountains region
The villa is located on the road to Ourika Valley approx 25 mins from Marrakech which is a cosmopolitan city , it has some of the best restaurants and night clubs in the world. The famous Jema el-fina square is best visited at night it always busy with storytellers, musicians and lots of el-fresco eating stalls. The colourful souks are a must for browsing or buying a wonderful array of goods from spices to ornate lamps. Visit the Majorelle gardens a delightfully tranquil spot filled with exotic plants.
Ourika valley area
There are an array of activities nearby; golf, cycling, hiking (short walks or longer, one or two day treks can be arranged), horse riding, fishing, motor sports such as quad bikes and 4x4 across the desert dunes.

Further details indoors: Each of the 3 bedroom suites comprises bathroom or shower ( 2 have both) ,dressing area and outdoor terrace with table and chairs. Every effort is made to ensure guests comfort and all rooms have air conditioning, comfortable English beds, fine linen, towels, bathrobes hairdryers and i pod docking stations. Two of the bedroom suites are doubles and one is a twin. We have a cot and an extra bed if required.
Dining and reception rooms have logs fires for the winter months.
In addition to the large indoor reception and dining rooms, the villa has four beautiful terraces where you can dine or simply relax whilst taking in the views of the snow capped mountains.
Further details outdoors: The villa is set in 1.5 acres , has a walled private sub - tropical garden with flowering shrubs, palm and olive trees. It is a delightfully tranquil spot away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech.

We had the most wonderful time at Dar Tamazerte - so wonderful we didn't actually go anywhere else! - we just stayed at the villa for the whole week. I have been trying to think a few words to sum up the experience - the fabulous house, the view of the mountains, the dragon flies skimming over the pool - it's like your own personal paradise - and Latifa and Saidia could not be sweeter. What set this holiday apart and transformed it from a good holiday to a great experience were the people. Staying at the villa with the fabulous staff, trekking in the mountains with Jamal and meeting his family, and with Tim and his team on hand I really had the opportunity to understand and absorb the culture. We had a fantastic stay at Dar Tamazerte. The house is really beautifully appointed, comfortable and with delightful mature gardens. Its location is perfect - near enough to dash into the bustle of Marrakech yet also within easy reach of the Atlas Mountains and its snow capped mountains peaks. Whilst we were tempted with the list of great restaurants to visit we enjoyed the cuisine and hospitality of the delightful Saidia and Latifa .
