Guestbook for Dar Tassa
We were so warmly received by Hafida & Fatima on arrival! They are absolutley wonderful hostesses! We felt thoroughly spoilt and nothing was too much for them and everything was done with a smile on their faces!
Dar Tassa is "heaven on earth" and thank you for sharing this beautiful home of yours with us. We really loved the romantic Agadir Suite which had its own entrance and lovely touches in the room like candles and lanterns and dried rosebuds on the bed added sparkle!
Dar Tassa is perched on the edge of the rock face occupying a majestic viewpoint! My husband agreed that Dar Tassa was the highlight of our stay in Morocco. I will treasure my memories of this wonderful place (and the surrounding valley in Springtime in blossom was a big bonus) and we will be recommending Dar Tassa to our families and friends.
Thanks for Dar Tassa that we met some wonderful guests who we will be keeping in touch with and who knows some day we may have a reunion at Dar Tassa! Kiran T March 09
One of the first things I noticed about this beautiful place was that it was nestled deep into the mountains. There was a feeling of peace and letting go, and a British couple were asleep in the living room area. The two women, Fatima and Hafida were very gentle and nice and cooked a beautiful meal for us. I went up onto the terrace and laid down on the couch, curling up with a book. It was amazing and I drifted off to sleep. After a hectic trip, Dar Tassa is a must for those needing to slow down, recharge their batteries and just marvel at the landscape around. Brahim the owner along with his wife and two children were very friendly and very concerned that we had all we needed. Brahim had the women make me a thyme and honey tea which certainly helped my cough. I was very touched by this. The great thing about this place is that you can do what you want, if you want hiking, trails etc, you can have it, but if you want to decompress, that is ok as well. Hafidia and Fatima were very friendly and it was fun chatting with them. Their warm personalities mesh really well with the low key vibe of the place and the amazing scenery takes your breath away. Hi Brahim, Thanks very much for making all the arrangements, we had a wonderful time. The flight was massively delayed but the girls stayed up until 3 in the morning to give us a very warm reception! The rooms were lovely, the food was excellent, and your staff are fantastic. All in all, very satisfactory. Will definitely be recommending Dar Tassa to friends and family, and would love to visit again. The trek with the 2 Mohammeds and Atlas the mule was brilliant too. They were very good company and took us on a perfect hike. Please also thank your brother for calling to check up on us while we were away - very thoughtful. I've never been so spoilt as I was during those 4 days in the mountains!
Thanks again and please pass on our regards to everyone."
-Yalini Jan 09. Brahim,
We had a really enjoyable stay at Dar Tasa - very unspoilt environment (and hope it stays that way) and the service/hospitality from Andrea was great. The trek was also very good (unlike the weather). Our guide, Mohamed, was very informative and extremely helpful. The stay at the village was a highlight and we were touched by how friendly the people were. Thanks for a great trek.
Nigel. Nov08 We very much enjoyed our stay and the great hospitality by all the staff especially Hafida and Mohammed, who made us feel very welcome and even managed to source a lovely birthday cake for Parantha's birthday at such short notice.
We also enjoyed our walk around the Atlas mountains with our well informed local guide and we hope to stay in touch.Balini & Parantha Oct 08
Dear Dar Tassa Thank you so much for looking after us so well when we stayed with you two weeks ago; we really enjoyed our stay, and will recommend you to our friends. Next time we hope to do some trekking. Special thanks for Amina for making such a lovely birthday cake - it was a great surprise1 With best wishes to all the staff, Sally, John and Chris March 08
