Activities include fishing, playing tennis, walking, running and most of all relaxing and taking in the stunning scenery. The nearest village is Oughterar, which is 6 miles away. This is a very well looked after, beautifully decorated and spacious family property.

    Many thanks for your review. All the houses in the area get the tap water directly from the lake. This is peninsula wide - I hope this was communicated clearly when you were sent all the house instructions. We hope that the dishwasher and washing machine worked to your needs. In terms of the kitchen utensils..... we will certainly take this into consideration and be sure to update for future guests.

    How do damage deposits work?

    In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

    Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.
