"perfect escape, homely, comfy and lovely. The perfect setting - everything we wanted!"

Burnside was a delight to stay in. It was so refreshing to stay somewhere that is comfy, cosy and wonderfully homely, it was all of the little touches in the decoration and utensils etc that meant this was like no other 'ordinary' holiday rental that we have stayed in. The conservatory was just wonderful to relax in looking out at the beautiful garden and surrounding countryside. The kitchen had everything we could hope for. We had 4 adults staying (my parents and partner) and there was plenty of room. Picture postcard village setting with an open stream running down the road!! Fantastic local bistro style pub , highly recommend – even for veggies! Perfect location for site seeing - we visited Dartmoor, Torquay, Dartmouth and Lyme Regis. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Fantastic value for money.
