Part of the charm of this house is the construction that reflects the style of an Old Masseria. The Milan based architect reproduced the same design of Masserias using all local stone and material.
It has a loft style living room with a fire place and a big table that can sit 14 people plus a table outside of the same size. Hanging on the walls is large art work collection belonging to the the owners.
There are 2 main bedrooms on the same floor with 2 bathrooms. There is a very nice stair that leads to the basement, usually very cool during the hot summer evenings, where there are 3 extra double bedrooms very well decorated with a bathroom. It can then sleep 10 people in total. Outside a big table and bbq.

The Puglia/Molise region
Puglia is the region of the heel of Italy. We are located in the south point in a region called Salento which is a very popular destination.
The summers are very warm but also year round you can swim and enjoy the sun. It is a very special area for the sea, the coast, the food and the people that are very friendly.
It is easy to access Puglia from all over Europe flying to Brindisi or Bari airports. You need a car to travel and discover the many small villages on the coast and in the countryside surrounded by olive trees.
Otranto / Giurdignano area
Giurdignano is located 10 minutes from Otranto, 50 minutes from the airport of Brindisi and 30 minutes from the city of Lecce, famous for its baroque architecture. A car is necessary to move around the area as public transportation is limited. Taxis and private drivers are available in Otranto. A bicycle rental service is available.
The house is located in a village with 1700 people and is placed at the centre of a vast olive tree area, it is 10 minutes by car from the beaches and the port and town of Otranto. It is famous for the presence of megalithic monuments dolmen or menhir, of the archaeological site called ’Le Centoporte", of several crypts, of which the most famous the church-cripta of San Salvatore. Very close to the centre.

The closest airport is Brindisi. The main airlines and budget airlines fly there.

Further details indoors: There are 2 big tables in the house. One is inside and the other outside under the shade. There is an outdoor sink and grill for barbecue.
Conditions
There is the possibility to have a maid service every day that charges 10 euros per hour. There is a final cleaning charge of 300 euros.
A daily gardener that takes care of the swimming pool and the plants is included in the price. Upon request he can also transport people to/from the airport for an extra charge. We can also organize yoga and cooking lessons upon request.
Any day changeover apart from July & August which are Saturdays only. There is a deposit cheque of €3000 euros to be given at the beginning of the stay and will be returned at the end if there have been no damages to the house. Time of check in: 3 p.m. Time of check out: 10 a.m. In lower season these hours can be more flexible.
