Little Beeches was originally built around 300 years ago, as part of a working farmhouse. Since then, it has been lovingly restored to offer accommodation for groups of up to 4 people. It has been decorated to a high standard throughout and backs onto a rear garden; perfect for enjoying a spot of outdoor dining during the summer months. There is off-road parking for 2 cars, but the local pub and restaurant are only a mile away on foot.
Hengoed is a small village in picturesque Shropshire, which nestles in the beautiful countryside, close to the historic border town of Oswestry.

A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.
Oswestry / Hengoed area
Because of the 9 lakes, known locally as ‘meres’, that make the scenery so distinctive, this region has been christened “Shropshire's Lakeland “. The region’s fascinating history is evident in ruins and remains, such as the Iron Age Hill Fort in nearby Old Oswestry. This town has much to offer visitors; there is a huge range of historical architecture to take in and a good variety of shops, pubs and restaurants.
Nearby Ellesmere is another site of historical interest, again evident in its magnificent buildings; a mix of Tudor, Medieval and Georgian. Here, you can explore the charming Church of Saint Mary, the roof of which dates back to the 1600’s. Ellesmere is well-served by its shops, which sell everything from antiques to exotic food and there are a series of gentle walks that lead down to the Llangollen canal. From here, you can take a boat-ride and sample the spectacular scenery from the water.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the 'Winter' period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the 'Low' and 'Mid' periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
'Last Minute Breaks' (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the 'Low', 'Mid', 'HIGH', 'PEAK', 'XMAS' and 'NEW YEAR' periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
