A traditional stone built mid terrace cottage in the lovely village of LLanrhaeadr-Ym-Mochnant in the Tanat Valley.

On the outskirts of the village is the Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall - one of the seven wonders of Wales, the delightful Lakes Vyrnwy and Bala are both nearby.

This is ideally sited for access to Snowdonia, the Welsh coast as well as Shropshire with its canal, the market town of Oswestry and historic Ironbridge Gorge.

Chirk and Powys castles are amongst the National Trust treasures to visit nearby.

Being at the foot of the Berwyn Mountains there is a wide choice of walking or mountain biking from the cottage and nearby villages.

The cottage is cosy but comes with everything you need for a romantic break, a quiet weekend away from pressures of work or to blow the cobwebs away with a strenuous and challenging walking holiday.

Fully equipped with tea, coffee, sugar, linen and towels included.

Garden with table, chairs and bbq to the rear with far reaching views over the cottage.

The village is lovely with friendly residents and a focal point for the area, within walking distance of the cottage are 2 pubs, 2 restaurants, a chip shop, a takeaway, village store, SPAR, Post Office, newsagents and cash machine.

It is also a W-Fi hot spot and one of the pubs has free wi-fi.

WARNING It is a traditional cottage over 100 years old - so the stairs are narrow with a dogleg, the bedroom door is low and garden is up steep steps so those less able bodied will need to be aware of this when booking
