This attractive self contained cottage is adjacent to the main farm house and has its own private entrance and garden with ample parking. The cottage is perfectly situated to explore the stunning Welsh countryside. A great base for walking, cycling and nature apreciation.
We are located just over 3 miles from spectacular Lake Vyrnwy with its many attractions.
A mystical man made lake hidden in the mountains of a nature reserve, just waiting to be discovered and explored.
Come and enjoy the peace and tranquillity on this family run farm in the beautiful Cownwy Valley of Mid Wales.
All visitors are very welcome at any time of year, whether for self catering or bed and breakfast.

Mid Wales is a magical place, with breathtaking mountains and unspoilt countryside and tranquil lakes. There is an abundance of walking, cycling and horseriding opportunities for the adventurer or rambler, and Mid Wales is steeped in history and charm and spectacular views for those who prefer a more relaxing holiday. Brecon is a highlight, a beautiful catherdral town just below the spectacular Brecon Beacons, Llandrindod Wells is a Victorian Spa town with beautiful public buildings, and of course Machynlleth - the ancient capital of Wales, a small market town with a population of around 2000. The town is famous for Welsh culture and politics as the site of Owain Glyndŵr's Welsh Parliament in 1404. Many other famous towns lie nearby with events such as the Bog Snorkelling championship!!
The Oswestry / Llanwddyn area
Lake Vyrnwy is the perfect setting for cyclists or ramblers, with stunning scenery and spectacular views.
We are located just over 3 miles from spectacular Lake Vyrnwy with its many attractions.

The surrounding forests, lakes, rivers and valley’s make it a perfect base for those who enjoy bird watching, walking, cycling, sailing, fishing and horse riding. The central location of the cottage also ensures guests can enjoy many days out visiting local places of interest such as craft workshops, potteries, garden centres and steam railways. Snowdonia National Park and the west coast of Wales are within driving distance, ensuring popular family resorts such as Barmouth, Fairbourne and Aberystwyth are easily accessible.
