Villa Kuko Rosa is situated 2km outside of the town of San Vito dei Normanni. You can enjoy the rural tranquillity of the villa, private swimming pool and gardens, but also use it as base should you wish to discover more of this beautiful region.

San Vito dei Normanni is a town of just over 20,000 inhabitants located in Puglia, the heel of Italy's boot, and is under 10 minutes away from the Adriatic Coast and its beaches.

The Puglia/Molise region

The region is renowned for its olive groves, trullo and vineyards.

The climate is warm and sunny.

Ostuni / San Vito dei Normanni area

San Vito dei Normanni is 2km from Villa Kuko Rosa.

San Vito has two Squares (piazza) with several cafes, bars/ice cream parlours, but the area is also of historical importance:

Ostuni: known locally as ‘The White City’, due to its white walls and buildings, is approx 20 minute drive.

Lecce: ‘The Florence of South’ is approximately a 50 minute drive.

Alberobello: the trulli World Heritage site is approximately 70 mins away and very special in our view.

Grotte di Castellana are magnificent caves, tours in English at certain times.

The protected coast and nature reserve of Torre Guaceto is nearby, and is the nearest beach.

Fasano Zoo Safari and Fun Park offers a brilliant day out for all the family as does Aquafollies Water Park in Lido Silvana on the Ionian Coast..

How to get there

Villa is approx 20 mins by car from Brindisi Airport (Ryanair) and 75 mins from Bari Palese Airport (Ryanair and British Airways).

There are also budget italian airlines so you can fly from the UK for example with change over in Milan. 'myair.com', 'flyairone.it', 'volareweb.com', 'alpieagles.com'

Car Hire: Car hire is really easy at both airports and the car quality is excellent. We tend to use Hertz. You can easily hire and return back to different airports. We find it cheaper to book before you leave and the price reflects what time of year you go.
