About the home

Large attractive luxury Villa, Apartment and Trullo situated in the Ostuni countryside close to the town centre. 15 mins from the beach. Tastefully well furnished with beautiful lighting and immense attention to detail to make your stay extremely comfortable and relaxing. Set in an idylic tranquil location for total relaxation. The final phase of refurbishment has just been completed. It consists of the main Villa on 2 levels, a self-contained Apartment and a 300 year old Trullo, so giving all members of the family or group their own space. WiFi access throughout the complex.

There is a stunning, very large roof terrace, with sofa, armchairs, bbq, large table and chairs, with elevated panoramic views across the hills to Ostuni, Cisternino and Ceglie Messapica town centres - perfect for sitting sipping your aperitif watching the sunset.

Private 10 x 8 mtr heated advanced salt water system swimming pool with solar heated shower. There is a large well lit stone paved patio with covered dining area, stone table, stone double sink and BBQ looking out over the swimming pool & hills. The large private walled 2.5 acre landscaped gardens contain many palms, olive, almond, cypress and fruit trees. The property has two entrances with large electric gates and a large garage.

This beautiful villa is the ideal place to relax and, to assist you further, we will happily arrange for Reflexology treatments during your stay. The surrounding areas offer opportunities for guests to play golf , tennis, or even go horse riding. Two sets of golf clubs are available at the Villa should guests wish to borrow them. A cook can be provided at an additional cost. Wine tours can also be arranged.

MAIN VILLA:
Sleeps up to 10.
The hallway leads to a large airy lounge with fireplace, picture windows and 2 sets of glass doors to a veranda.
There are comfy sofas, satellite TV, DVD player and a stereo/iLuv player with speakers, french doors to a veranda and windows overlooking the swimming pool.
Good sized fully fitted kitchen/dining area with 6 ring hob, large oven, double sink, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer, kettle, toaster, oak dining table and chairs.
Large fully tiled bathroom with 2 grand washhand basins, bidet, wc and full sized bath with shower over.
Master bedroom with Queen size bed, wall to wall wardrobe, chaise lounge and french windows to a veranda with breathtaking views across the garden, pool and surrounding countryside.
Good sized second double bedroom with double bed, large wardrobe and dressing table.
Air conditioning and parquet flooring in both bedrooms.

LOWER LEVEL OF MAIN VILLA:
Large hallway with dining area and gold leather chesterfield sofa, with totally glazed wall with large doors leading out into the garden and with an archway leading to an immense lounge with full size traditional slate base snooker table, 3 comfortable settees, plus 2 wing back armchairs and fireplace.
The lower level grand airy lounge/chill out area boasts a 42" high definition plasma satellite TV and DVD, i-Luv stereo system and full sized Snooker table, as well as a large fitted kitchen with travertine worktops and breakfast bar, 6 ring hob, cooker hood, fridge/freezer, double sink, microwave, kettle and ice making machine.
Also located on the lower level are:
A grand master family bedroom with king size bed and an additional single bed.
Bathroom with shower, bidet, washhand basin and wc.
1 double furnished bedroom with double bed.
1 single furnished bedroom with single bed.
Further bathroom with large shower, bidet, washhand basin and wc.

Kitchen/diner with fully fitted kitchen, travertine worktops, 6 ring hob, oven, cooker hood, fridge/freezer, double sink, large dining table and 6 chairs.
Large double bedroom with a picturesque view over the pool, air conditioning and parquet flooring, fully furnished with Queen size bed.
There is also a very large fully tiled bathroom with 2 grand washhand basins, shower, bidet and wc.

TRULLO:
Sleeps 2
Beautifully restored 300 year old stone trullo, unique to this region of Italy with own private patio, lounge, double bedroom, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher, hob, oven and fridge/freezer.

All bed linen and towels (incl pool towels) are supplied.
Goose down pillows, fresh, crisp, Egyptian cotton sheets and towels.
Silk duvets and cotton blankets for the summer and goose down duvets for cooler months are provided for all beds.

ENTERTAINMENT:
Full sized traditional slate base Snooker table in the lower level of the main house.
Stereo/HiFi system in all areas.
A vast range of board games, books, CD's, DVD's are available for guests' use.
42" HD plasma satellite TV & DVD is situated in the airy and comfortable chill out zone on the main lower level.
Large satellite TV & DVD player are situated upstairs in the main house living area.

On the lower level of the main house is a large, beautifully lit wooden dining table which comfortably seats 10 with views through french doors out onto the garden, perfect for family/group meals together on cool evenings.
On the swimming pool patio is a large covered dining area with a hand crafted marble table with a beautiful Egyptian lantern over it, a stone double sink and an Italian crafted stone BBQ, perfect for outdoor entertaining on long summer evenings with tasteful lighting all around.

There is a further separate room with a Miele washing machine and an outdoor paved area with 2 Brabantia washing airers for drying laundry.

KITCHENS:
High quality cookware is provided in each of the Villa's 4 kitchens.
All kitchens are fully fitted with dishwashers in 2, fitted ovens in 3, cooker hoods, hobs & fridge/freezers in all 4.
The kitchen/diner upstairs in the main house has an American style fridge/freezer, 6 ring hob, large oven, cooker hood, dishwasher, double sink, in addition to a large extentable wooden table & chairs, with views across the grounds and out across the lush Ostuni countryside.

Further details outdoors:
The advanced salt water system for the swimming pool is kind to the skin and eyes, unlike conventional chlorine systems, has a solar heated poolside shower and separate luxury outside bathroom. The pool can be heated in the winter months.

There is a large patio and lawn around the pool with 10 luxury 5* sun loungers, plus 5 others. Large covered dining area looking out over the hills with table and chairs, double sink, bbq, armchairs and stainless steel deluxe cooler cart .

On the verandah outside the Villa's kitchen there is a hand painted Italian ceramic dining table and chairs.

The private walled 2.5 acre landscaped gardens contain many palms, olive, almond, cypress and fruit trees.

The property has two grand entrances, both with large electric intercommed gates. There is a large garage, together with a large car port for parking cars out of the hot sun, plus plenty of parking spaces in the grounds.

Stunning roof terrace with 360 degrees panoramic views with dining table, chairs, sofa, armchairs, coffee table and bbq.

The roof terrace, swimming pool and patio have been carefully designed with detailed lighting all around to give a romantic feel and to enable full use after dusk.

Further details

A 30% non-refundable deposit is required, with the full balance due for payment 6 weeks prior to arrival. Security deposit of £1000 required (which is fully refundable subject to final inspection).

The Puglia/Molise region

With its crystal blue sea and acres of ancient olive groves, Puglia’s landscape is very different from the rolling countryside of Tuscany and Umbria, but its sunny climate, delicious food, excellent wine and interesting history make Puglia a captivating region just waiting for you to explore.

It is still blissfully Italian; “the undiscovered corner of Italy” and has long been known as Italy’s Wine Cellar. It produces nearly half of Italy’s olive production.

Puglia offers some of the best golf courses in Italy and we have 2 sets of golf clubs at the property for holiday makers’ free use.

From the villa’s central location you can easily visit the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Alberobello and Matera, plus the necropolis of Egnathia, the Castles of Conversano and Monopoli and the baroque city of Lecce, which has been described as the Florence of the South.

The Ostuni countryside is tranquil and the ideal place to relax and unwind.
The beautiful setting and vibrant atmosphere is perfect for families, friends or couples.

Ostuni is one of the most stunning cities of Southern Italy for the dazzling effect of its whitewashed houses. Hints of the Middle Ages are at hand in every corner of the old town, known as “the White Town”, “La Citta Bianca” in Italian.
It is a bustling town, with many restaurants and bars and plenty of night life.

In close driving distance to the villa you are spoilt for choice for wonderful restaurants where you can sample the fantastic locally produced food, such as the delicious burrata cheese, ear shaped orechiette pasta and an abundance of seafood, as well as the local wine. There are also many local interesting markets, Ostuni’s on a Saturday morning being the best.

There is no excuse to ever be bored. You can do as little or as much as you want!!

The Ostuni area

The Ostuni countryside is the ideal place to relax and unwind.
The beautiful setting and vibrant atmosphere is perfect for families, friends or couples.
Ostuni itself is a bustling town with many restaurants and bars and plenty of night life.
It is also in a very central position allowing you to tour much of central and southern Puglia in a day.

There is an abundance of wonderful restaurants in close driving distance from the house where you can sample the fantastic local food and wine, plus many local interesting markets. The area is full of wonderful architecture and many interesting places to visit for sightseeing. There is no excuse to ever be bored. You can do as little or as much as you want!

Ostuni town centre is 5km away and Cisternino, Ceglie Messapica and Martina Franca a short drive away.

“Beautiful, relaxing & breathtaking. Thoroughly recommended.” We spent a week in Ostuni for a friend's wedding. We managed to see a number of Ostunis large rental villas during our trip, and were delighted that we opted to stay at Villa Aurora. The place is quite simply stunning yet still manages to retain a wonderful homely feel. Every possible need has been catered for here with some added extravagances. A huge pool, beautiful roof terrace, full size snooker table, incredible grounds, Sky TV, multiple bathrooms, kitchens & BBQ areas. It is also placed close enough to neighboring towns whilst feeling as though you are in your own exclusive retreat. Linda was a pleasure to deal with throughout the booking & stay and we certainly hope to return one day. Even the bridal party were envious of the place! Thanks!
