Villa Mexico is superbly situated 2 km outside the town of San Vito Dei Normanni. Nestling in Olive Groves the large fully enclosed child friendly garden also has a large patio area and outside purpose built BBQ. Whilst the Villa is situated close to all local amenities in San Vito, e.g. bars, restaurants, supermarkets, cafes and shops, it remains tranquil and secluded without being isolated.
The villa is situated 10 minutes away from the Adriatic coast and its many beaches. Many historic towns such as Ostuni (the white city), and Lecce (with beautiful baroque buildings) etc are easily accessible.

The Puglia/Molise region
Puglia is now called by some The New Tuscany, it is a fascinating, beautiful land full of history and interest. Puglia is the home of the trulli, the famous conical stone buildings with pointed roofs. Alberobello is the home of the trulli and is now designated a UNESCO world heritage site.
Other important places to visit are Lecce the Baroque jewel of the south, Fasano with a theme park and the famous Grotte (Caves). A little further away, although easy to reach by car, are Ostuni (The White City), Carovigno, Bari, Taranto, Galipoli, Otranto and the tip of the Italian heel at Santa Maria di Leuca.
It is easy to get to the sea from anywhere in the Puglian peninsula to either the Ionian Sea or The Gulf of Taranto where azzure seas welcome you.
Ostuni / San Vito dei Normanni area
San Vito dei Normanni is a town of approximately 20,000 inhabitants and has two squares (piazze) with many cafes, bars, gelaterie (ice-cream shops), and a maze of streets in which are many trattorie and restaurant where you can eat, drink and talk to the friendly puglinese.
San Vito has 3 supermarkets and lots of local shops where you can buy practically anything you want.
The Cripta di San Bagio is well signposted from San Vito and is one of the most important rock churches in the region with 12th Century frescos.
Nearby the protected coast and nature reserve of Torre Guaceto encloses an uncontaminated and beautiful area of sea and marshland that is now protected by the WWF.
How to get there
Brindisi airport (about 15 minutes by car) served by Ryanair.
Bari airport (about 1hr 10minutes by car) served by Ryanair and British Airways.
There are also budget Italian airlines so you can fly to Milan, Rome or other Italian cities and then fly to Bari or Brindisi.

Further details indoors: The Lounge has a log burning stove for winter nights. All windows have louvred external shutters and are fitted with fly screens.
Further details outdoors: The property is set in a tranquil secluded spot with over an acre of enclosed garden which has more than 30 Mature Olive Trees, Fig and many other fruit trees, guests are invited to help themselves to what ever fruit is in season.
The large patio area is well lit for relaxing or al fresco dining in the warm evenings. Ample garden furniture is provided as well as an outside shower for cooling off.
The BBQ area is equipped with an outside sink. To the front of the house there is a large covered veranda providing shade on hot days.

25% non-refundable deposit to be made to secure booking.
The full amount is required 6 weeks before arrival date.
A security deposit of 150 Euros is required (payable with remaining amount) and will be reimbursed fully subject to a satisfactory property inspection.
