Apartment: "Il Vicolo" : designed to a very high standard. Fully equipped open-plan-in stone kitchen with 1double sofa-bed and a single bed, 32" flat tv, spacious bathroom with shower made of fine Italian mosaic. I would like to remember that the apartments are divided (doors next to each others, of course!) but two different keys. Both of them have kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, tap water, heater, shower room and alarm system. The shower room in "Il Cavo" at lower ground floor is smaller. And it has got 5/6 steps to go from/to the living/bedroom to the bathroom. Often, the people like to use one as a chill out area and one as a sleeping area. Or if you have friends at the last minute, you'll have space for 3 people more.
Sofa-beds: new modern tecnological easy touch. Just one press to open. Linen and pillows inside! no need to take off cushions. Because all the rooms have ample space, they could be left open all the time.
Many houses pretend to be in the centre, but "Lost in Time" is absolutely in the '400 century heart! Right in the centre of fashionable areas such as 'Riccardo's cafe' & 'Osteria del tempo perso' with michelin star, etc.. Art and handi-craftshops open till late. Parking close by. Internet point/ fax/printer - 10 minutes walk in a wonderful bar with terrace.

The Puglia/Molise region
Puglia the heel of italy, famous for its untouched and natural wildlife with villages full of baroque and romanic churches and palazzi. Unspoilt by mass tourism.
within a short drive from o s t u n i there are many places of interest to suit all, keeping adults and chldren amused:
❀"Alberobello", famous for its trulli (cone-shaped-houses) protected by Unesco as a unique world heritage site are and the medieval mysterious "Castel del Monte" in the bari area.
❀"Grotte di Castellana" stunning italy's largest underground cave network.
❀Fantastic "Zoo Safari" - fasano with a small theme park: roller coaster, log flume,vertical ride drop, etc.
❀5 major golf courses in apulia at fasano "san domenico": 1015 minutes drive away from ostuni, a challenging 18 holes per 72 course golf club with great views of the adriatic. "barialto" 30-40 minutes renovated for its architecturally designed course winding through palm trees and 5 lakes. Etc...
❀"Lecce" has wonderful baroque architecture and fine boutiques. Plus the famous "piccolo" theatre.
❀"Cisternino E Martina Franca" has numerous jazz festivals and plus the local fayres.
❀"Polignano a Mare" a cliff top town with an elegant well-known restaurant inside an original cave on the sea.
❀Water park "Acqua-in" definitely worth a visit: water slide, 2 flumes, swimming pool, bar, cafe - lamaforca beach.
Ostuni / Ostuni Centre area

Lonely Planet Puglia e..: "Ostuni has a commanding position, its maze of tightly packed streets twisting around a dramatic 15th century cathedral encircled by medieval ramparts It is the most popular Murgia town, maninly due to its proximity to the coast. In recent years it has become devilishly chic, and has the BEST after dark scene in the region".
So, why Ostuni? unique in its gender: the white city, set between olive-oil-trees facing the adriatic sea, has great sandy beaches and fine authentic italian cuisine.
Ostuni has got "the blue flag", also the lively pilone 1 and 2, both with bars and facilities nearby. villanova port, monticelli with its posh 'quarto del mare' bar/beach resort. costa merlata, an other favourite.
Torre pozzella, gorgeous unspoilt torre guaceto a wwf protected natural reserve; with various activites: birdwatching, walking, cycling, bathing, etc... (all beaches - 3 miles).
If u like the idea of getting purposefully lost wondering around the cobbled sundrenched streets of a medieval walled town, stumbling across amazing restaurant (with ridiculously low prices) and trendy bars, whilst catching glimpses sea of turquoise sea through the gaps between the beautiful old whitewashed townhouses, then Ostuni is 4u!!!
