Fantastic family home in easy distance from the town of San Vito dei Normanni. Situated in the heel of Italy you are idealy situated for visting the local beaches of the Adriatic and Ionion coast. Ostuni, Lecce and Alberrobello and Matera (both World Heritage sites) can be easily visited in a day trip. The region of Puglia is rich in culture, good food and wine which can be enjoyed in the various local towns in the immediate area. A Golf course, zoo safari with amusement park are only 40km away.

The Puglia/Molise region

The Puglia region is known as the heel of Italy, the weather is hot through the summer months and comfortable through the winter. The area is well regarded for beautiful foods and excellent wines along with a stunning coastline and beaches. The region has a fasinating history left by the Greeks, Roman's, Normans and Spanish. The city of Lecce famous for the baroque architecture has been called the "Florence of the south" and every town and city has its own story to tell.

Ostuni / San Vito dei Normanni area

San Vito dei Normanni is a wonderful local town near to Ostuni (The White City) and other stunning locations. During the summer months the towns enjoy a series of local festivals celebrating local customs and culinary delights. Weekly food markets provide the opportunity to purchase local produce. In contrast to the north of Italy the cost of living is low.

How to get there

From the UK, Ryanair has flights from Stansted airport to Brindisi and Bari airports, British Airways from Gatwick and Air Alitalia from London Heathrow both fly to Bari. There are numerous car rental companies Ryanair have discounted deals with Hertz and we can also recommend www.carhireforless.co.uk who can also provide competitive rates. Brindisi is approx 25mins and Bari approx 75mins travel time to the villa. Brindisi and Bari are ferry gateways to other Adriatic and Greek ports. Brindisi Railway station is also linked to all major Italian and European cities you can use both Trenitalia and Eurostar.

The interior of the property has modern furniture without, consisting of 2 double bedrooms one which has a separate entrance and access to the veranda. The spacious open plan kitchen has all modern amenities along with a large dining area. There is an extensive veranda with large table and chairs for alfresco dining, exterior lighting allows you to relax outside well into the evening. If the evenings are cool the large lounge area is brightly decorated and provides comfort and relaxation, the stunning staircase leads up to a mezzanine floor which leads onto the bedrooms.

Within the immediate area of the house a large above ground swimming pool provides the opportunity to cool off when required or you can explore the extensive grounds and olive tree's. The boundary of the property is secure with a wall and gates to the drive so your children are safe within the grounds offering peace of mind.

We provide a meet and greet service and welcome pack. Linen and towels are provided and a mid-week change can be included at an extra cost of 8 Euros per person.

Conditions

30% non-refunable booking fee to be payed at time of booking. The remaining 70% payable 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of £200 to be paid prior to arrival, this will be held and returned when the agent reports that the property has been checked and is OK on departure. We suggest you replace broken items before departure with the agreement of the agent.
