Whether you are looking for a quiet retreat, a beach holiday, or a base for sight-seeing, Villa Leoni is in an ideal location. Or you may just want to spend some time relaxing in the acre of gardens and grounds. Help yourself to fruit from the mature trees, have a dip in the pool or enjoy a glass of wine relaxing on the shady veranda.

The location, just 3km from town, is also ideal for out of season or long term lets.

Inside the villa there are two double bedrooms leading off the sitting room. The master bedroom has a king-sized double bed, and the second bedroom has twin beds and a folding bed. A travel cot is provided, but please advise if required so we can provide cot linen.

All rooms have high ceilings to keep rooms cool in summer. The sitting room has a woodburner for cooler evenings.

An open fire in the kitchen and electric heaters provide warmth for winter bookings. An inner hall leads from the sitting room to the kitchen and shower room. The kitchen is well equipped, and benefits from new appliances, including a new washing machine, microwave, and cooker with gas hob and oven. However, cooking in the large outdoor pizza oven is a far more enjoyable and sociable experience.

The Puglia/Molise region

Puglia is a large and mainly rural area with a fascinating history. Today people visit the region for its beautiful beaches and wonderful climate. However, Puglia has much more to offer, from fine wine and local cuisine, to the beautiful architecture of Lecce, or the stylish shops of Brindisi.

Ostuni / San Vito dei Normanni area

San Vito has a wide range of shops and amenities, as well as some lovely piazzas, churches and a castle. There are festas throughout the summer, and at any time you can sit outside one of the excellent bars and watch the world go by. Nearby Caravigno and Mesagne are also well worth a visit.

How to get there

15 Minutes drive from Brindisi airport. Ryanair fly into Brindisi on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. Alitalia have connecting flights from Heathrow Airport to Brindisi several times a day, although this does require a change at Rome or Milan.

The villa has been recently redecorated and furnished. The double glazed windows and front door are all new with new mosquito nets and shutters.

We hope to have provided everything necessary to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Fans and air conditioning provided for the hot summer months. For the cooler months we provide electric heaters, and an initial supply of wood for the stove. Further wood can be purchased locally.

The owners live nearby and will be available to assist you with any difficulties.
