In Apulia, near Ostuni, you can find a romantic trullo in the country area, very close to the sea. The “Lamia” is located in a popular area of San Vito dei Normanni’s countryside, just 10 minutes drive away from the wonderful beaches of the Natural Reserve area of Torre Guaceto, swing possible and 15 minuts from Brindisi airport.
The charm of this house is in its origin structure without any modification. It has an antique part with a typical caved, curved “volte a botte“ ceiling and 4 alcoves, where now the kitchenette, a sofa, the dining table and the former fire-place area have been collocated.
There is a passage linking to the bedroom area, in the modern part of the construction which consists of 1 double-bedroom, a second bedroom with 3 single beds, a spacious bathroom with shower-cabin and a service/laundry room.
Externally a large veranda (surrounded by climbing plants) equipped for outdoor dining. On the roof a 60m2 solarium area for the friends of sunbathing . The whole property has a 10.000m2 garden. At the entrance a typical small countryside chapel showing the Madonna’s image. Due to its 2 unit conditioner (aircondition and heating) system, this house may be rent also during the winter period.

San Vito dei Normanni is a small town in the southern part of the Italian region Apulia, called Salento, in the province of Brindisi (BR). It has around 20,000 inhabitants.
The largest church in the city is the Basilica of Santa Maria della Vittoria, locally known as the Chiesa Madre (Mother Church), which shows evidence of previous wars from the fist-sized holes that can be seen in and around the exterior.
Many local markets ( a.m. 8:00 to 12:00 a.m. ) : Monday at San Vito dei Normanni. Auchan centre and Carrefour - both hypermarkets - 15 minutes driving distance from villa. Numerous banks, butchers, fishmongers etc in San Vito itself. Go karting - 8km. Supervised horse riding : at 15 minutes .
