Ideal for a relaxing or romantic break Casa Montanaro is 2km from Cisternino a town bustling wirh bars and excellent restaurants. The villa is modern with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, dining room (seats 10) and exceptionally well fitted kitchen. This is a truly luxurious villa that has been completely refurbished to a very high standard for 2008. You will find lots of home comforts are included to make your stay that extra bit more enjoyable. The High quality teak garden furniture with cushioned seating on the main patio will make alfresco dining a delight. In addition there are 2 excellent sun loungers to help you top up your tan in comfort.Good safe beaches are a short drive with golf and lots of other activities close by.

Having been recently completely re-furnished and re-decorated, Casa Montanaro will comfortably sleep 4 adults in 2 well proportioned luxurious double bedrooms, 2 children/teenagers or adults in the twin room as well as a baby in travelcot. All rooms have plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. The kitchen and dining room are very well equipped with cooking and eating utensils and a dishwasher is also provided. You will find lots of additional 'home comforts' at Casa Montanaro.

Why not book the villa for a romantic break and have a personal chef cater for your own preferential tastes and create exquisite menus from the local produce. We produce our own estate olive oil, liquers and fruit and only use the best quality locally sourced produce, fresh sea food and shellfish, vegatables like they should taste, home baked bread and top quality meat from local farms, in all our menu's. It won't be as expensive as you may think. Additional maid/houskeeping facilities are also available.
Please take a short while on your arrival to read the welcome book at the villa. You will find lots of information regarding the villa and also the surrounding area all of which is designed to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. WE WANT YOU TO RETURN-Enjoy your stay. The Puglia/Molise region

Puglia, the land of the Trulli. If history is your thing you will find the area has lots of local pageants and festivals as well as many historical sites all within easy reach. At Egnazia you will find the ruins of an ancient Roman town dating back to the 6th century. The towns of Locorotondo and Alberobello are a short drive away and are full of ancient trulli as well as some delightful shops and restaurants. Check out Ostuni the 'white city' in particular the historical centre.

The Ostuni / Cisternino area

Take an early evening stroll around the old town (Centro Storico) of Cisternino full of bars, restaurants, squares and little churches all tucked away in the narrow streets where you will feel safe and at ease with the other strollers.

Swimming in the normally calm, blue Adriatic is an experience to be relished as are the seafood restaurants along the coast and a must is to try the local delicacy of sea urchins fresh from the sea.

Local markets abound in Cisternino and the surrounding towns each having their alloted days for food, clothing and housewares.

Martin Franca- is a lovely town about 15 minutes drive away with some wonderful boutique type shops and airy squares for a lazy coffee break. Similarly, Fasano has great shops and a fantastic zoo safari with every animal you can imagine. You can have a great lunch here too!

Historical towns and cities such as Lecce and Monopoli are more suitable for day trips and are full of interesting sites.

35km from Brindisi airport, 60km from Bari Cisternino lies in the heart of the beautiful Vale D'itria with the clear clean Adriatic sea to the east and the gulf of Tarranto to the west. Both airports are well serviced from the UK by budget airline Ryanair, 2 1/2 hrs from Stanstead, as well as the major internationals though in some cases with these a change is involved. British Airways also fly to Bari from London Gatwick March to September. Car rental is easy and efficient ( book with Opodo on line for the best rates B4U travel) and preceeds the 35 minutute drive from Brindisi (follow the signs for Bari), 80 minutes from Bari (follow signs for Brindisi), to Casa Montanaro following the coastside motorway to the Cisternino stazioni turn off. You will go over the rail line, through Pozzo Faceto, turn left at the t junction, next right and follow the signs to Cisternino. The villa is 2km from town. You will probably collect keys in town and be taken the rest of the way.

A deposit of 20% is required to confirm a booking with the outstanding balance fully paid 8 weeks prior to arrival dates. A security deposit payment of 200 pounds sterling is required along with the balance payment. This is refundable and will be returned within one week of your return home after any agreed necessary deductions. Included: Weekly rental, all taxes, towels, linen and beach towels, electricity upto 330kwh, water and hot water, and tea towels. Not Included: Log Supply, telephone/ internet connection, central heating, cooking/chef services, and maid (change of linen) service.

There is a final clean fee of 95 Euros. This is payable locally in Euros on collection of keys.

If you light a fire please ensure that you clear the ashes away from the property. Failure to do this, leaving old full rubbish sacks or sinks full of dirty pots and pans will regretable result in a double final cleaning fee.
