The apartment has been recently renovated providing during the summer a refreshing temperature when coming back from a warm day at the beach or sightseeing tour and during winter a cosy place. The apartment in the villa, very fresh in summer and well-heated in winter, is advisable to have a sunny break. The kitchen equipment allows families to be fully independant from restaurants. The patios with view on olive-tree fields are furnished with a table and chairs to enable guests to dine al fresco. A variety of mediterranian plants and flowers makes the garden unique. Safe for children, who could enjoy the sun playing in the garden.
Quiet and peaceful, yet only fifteen minutes from the city centre, the villa has easy access to all amenities, including the local market, shops, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The short distance from the sea allows to discover the coast with plenty in the surrounding area to see and do during the stay.

The Puglia/Molise region
Puglia is Italy's boot heel, its south-eastern most regions. With its ancient olive groves, unspoiled seaside, and fresh, unusual dishes, Puglia is the country's best-kept secret. If you have already toured the northern part of Italy and are looking for something equally fascinating, completely different and much less crowded, this is a wonderful area to consider.
Puglia has some of the brightest seas, most diverse art and architecture, most mouth-watering peasant cuisine and kindest people. Its placement over two coasts makes it a tourist's dream. Add to the mile upon mile of shoreline, superb weather, beautiful towns, lovely countryside, and plenty of beaches (not to mention rocky coves and spectacular cliffs). Do not forget the wine and the glorious food such as locally grown figs, olives, almonds, and grapes, and just-caught seafood.
Ostuni / Ostuni Centre area
The town of Ostuni floats like a vast white ocean liner over-looking the coastal plain north-west toward the Adriatic. The views are stunning especially from the top of the old town above the beautiful baroque cathedral and piazza. White-washed houses wind cheek by jowl through labyrinthine streets, each sometimes no more than a few feet apart. Even in the scorching mid-summer Mediterranean heat these streets and houses remain reasonably cool. Restaurants and bars abound in the old town and the baroque main square. Shops range from the artisan to the most sophisticated.
It is also worth exploring the coast on two seas, the Adriatic and the Ionian, with all sorts of gorgeous beaches. Trips to cities and towns by the coast and inland can be organised to see various excellent archaeological museum, a host of cathedrals dating back to the 10th century, and several Geek and Roman ruins.
How to get there
Ostuni is close to the airport of Brindisi (30km) and Bari (70km).
Various low budget airlines (BA, Alitalia, Lufthansa, ryanair.com, easyjet.com, hlx.com, etc) fly to either airport. Altenatively one can also go to Naples and take the train (3,5hrs)
