This lovely villa is single storey, has an outside shower, a BBQ, plus an Italian pizza oven. The position is totally secluded, including the pool area and the gazebo is equipped with table and chairs. It stands in its own 2 acres of olive and fruit trees. There is a newly refitted kitchen, and mostly new furniture.

The Puglia/Molise region
This part of Italy has lovely hot summers, so a pool is essntial for cooling off. The local towns were built in medieval times, on hills, with walls for defence, and have little narrow streets to explore. The nearest towns to the villa are Ostuni (Citta Bianca - the White City), Ceglie Messapica, Cisternino, Lecce and Martina Franca.
Ostuni area
Ostuni has a huge weekly market on Saturday mornings, and you can take a full day to explore the old city (Centro Istorica).
Lecce has a monthly antique market, and is a very up-market shopping centre with lots of designer shops. Near to Martina Franca are some historic caves.
Cisternino and Ceglie Messapica are smaller than Ostuni, but very friendly and (possibly?) romantic. Monopoli is a beautiful old port city with a fort and fishermen mending their nets next to the harbour. All these towns have plentiful restaurants and bars - visit the trattoria in Ceglie where the proprietor alternately cooks and sings whilst playing his accordion.
