This newly renowated villa offers the charm of the unique Trulli with its waulted ceiling, and 1 meter thick walls, keeping it nicely cool even in the hottest part of the summer, and a wood burner to keep you warm on chillier evenings.
The sleeping area is fully air conditioned (cold as well as hot), and has 1 double en-suite bedroom, as well as 1 double/twin bedroom, together with a bunk bedroom, and a family bathroom.
The property is fenced all round, and gated with remote electric lock, and is set in an acre of rural ground.

The Puglia/Molise region

Puglia is one of the last corners of Italy where you don't see a Pub nor a Fish & Chips Shop, and may it long last. Italian food is well known worldwide, and the Puglia region is a strong contributor to the Italian cusine.
Wines and olives are produced in abundance ( 20-25% of Italy's production), and a quality to match.
Historic places and heritage stands up to any region in Italy, from World Heritage Alberobello with its over 1000 trullies, to the baroque Lecce.
The countryside varies from dramatic mountains, to fertile lush valleys, rightly called the kitchen gardens of Italy.
The varied coastline of the area offer sandy blue flagged beaches, and rugged dramatic coast.

Ostuni area

Ostuni the "Citta Bianca" with its old part perched on a mount, offer narrow winding alleyways, with architecture inspired by the various rulers of the area over hundred of years. The variety of Ristorante's and Pizzerias, places for a quiet drink, add to the atmosphere of this cosmopolitan city.

How to get there

Ryan Air fly from Stansted on a daily base either to Brindisi (1/2 hours drive) , or to Bari ( 1 hours drive away).
AirItalia also fly on a daily basis from Heathrow. BA fly part of the year from Heatrow.
Ostuni links up with the European rail network (trains in Italy are amongst the cheapest in Europe).
Most of the well known Car Hire firms are represented at the airports, please enquire for details.
Brindisi and Bari have ferry connections to the east (Albania, Greece, etc.)
It is approx. 1200 miles to drive, from Calais.
