NATURAL RESERVE OF " TORRE GUACETO " , 3 minutes far from Pantanagianni
The Protected Coast and the Natural Reserve of " Torre Guaceto " , 3 minutes far from Pantanagianni , is comprised of and encloses a precious stretch of an uncontaminated and charming coast where time seems to have stopped. One cannot not remain fascinated by the sea which appears suddenly from the vegetation of the golden sand or from the infinite number of sea shells inn the crystal clear waters.
Our agency has a convention with the Consortium of " Torre Guaceto" , that organize inside the Reserve, excursions of trekking, cycle-trekking, seawatching .
VISIT LECCE
Lecce is famed for its marvellous Baroque buildings, made in Lecce stone, a warm-hued limestone easily workable with the chisel. The Cathedral and the Seminary face the square with the famous well. In the historic centre there are also the theatre and the Roman amphitheatre, dating back to the second century AD.
VISIT THE CASTELLANA CAVES The beautiful Castellana Caves are 38 miles distant, you can easy reach them in 40-50 minutes drive from our beach houses.
VISIT THE ZOO SAFARI The great Zoo Safari is only 21 miles distant, it's very unique because you enter the zoo with your own car, it also has an amusement park and a dolphin aquarium, you can spend a full day here. You can easy reach this destination in 25-30 minutes drive from our beach houses.
VISIT GROTTAGLIE AND THE CARAMICS The Ceramics in Grottaglie are a must see, this city has an antique tradition.
VISIT OSTUNI The old town called Ostuni rises on the last layers of the Southern Murgia. It is a real jewel of the picturesque colour of its built-up area rigorously painted in white. Its particular charactestics give to Ostuni other fairy tale names such as: White town, Olive trees Queen, Crip. The houses are very small and they often are on the ground floor digged up the rock joined to other houses through arches and semiarches that act as buttresses and as support owing to the characteristic ground structure

For sure the most genuine and simple thing you may do in Apulia is ...eat.
Just imagine a huge proportion of Italy’s fish and seafood is caught off the extensive Apulian coast that practically surrounds the region, the 70% of the country’s pure Olive Oil is produced here and the region provides for the 80% of Europe’s Pasta. Climate helps us a lot in this, as a matter of fact it's so easy to find fresh vegetables, fruits and genuine cheese like "Mozzarella" ......
GO SHOPPING One thing we suggest to do is go shopping in the weekly street markets, every day of the week it moves to a different town.

Ostuni area
Pantanagianni is still an unknown location, breathing the fresh sea air here gives you a sense of wellness
if you look at the map you will notice our place has a central position in Apulia region
from here you can easily reach any tourist and cultural attraction of the region within 5 - 70 minutes
there is all villas and private houses, it's really a quiet place, only in hot summer it gets populated
and during daylight the beaches are covered with people catching the sun and kids playing
there is only one camping facility that stays open almost all year around, with a free entrance minimarket, the only one here
The spoiled ones will find anything in Santa Sabina, another location just north along the coast or just south in Specchiolla, both places less then 2 miles distant Only a few restaurants and pizzerias at walking distance, or maybe with a bicycle if you want a fresh drink, food or barbeque grill goodies, at any hours, you'll find them on the beach
where you can reach an open sky Pub with umbrella shades, and a typical Beach Bar with a play ground for kids, and not only
The beaches are the most beautiful of the area, and their best expression is during the off season
and during non busy hours, in these periods this is the best place you'll find peace, serenity
and regenerate body and soul
