The North West Italy / Piedmont/Lake Maggiore region
Liguria is a long strip of land which stretches like an arch over Tyrrhenian sea. It has 340KM of beautiful coast. Its long beaches and cliffs that form coves are just one of the attractions for tourists. Fishing boats and colourful houses overlook the seafront a choice of pebble or soft sandy beaches.
Liguria's climate is pleasant and mild all year round. The average temperatures are 10 degrees Celsius in the winter and 24 degrees Celsius in the summer. With these temperatures, you can enjoy relaxing in the sun OR participating in activities and sports of your choice.
Traditionally, basic Mediterranean food and wine is what you will find on the menu's in Liguria. Simple ingredients are used but mixed together to bring you a delightful dish. Olive oil is especially tasty in Liguria so be sure to try that!
The Orta San Giulio area
There is a nearby boat club where you can hire boats or have your own boat anchored. Parking is inside the property, electronic entrance gate, direct lake access. For our guests there is a garage in Orta which is a huge bonus.
