You will also be able to take a swim in the communal swimming pool take a visit to the children’s activity and adventure playground. There’s a lot of activities to do ranging from water skiing and speed boating. There are a wide range of restaurants, bars and clubs to choose from not to mention sun bathing on the beach which is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Costa del Azahar region

This is an area of great contrasts, with stunning ocean views, pine-covered mountains and busy traditional fishing villages. Costa Del Azahar has excellent connections by land and air and the fine cities of Castellón, Valencia and Barcelona are within easy reach. Truly an undiscovered secret of the Mediterranean.

The Costa del Aazahar or Orange Blossom Coast runs from just south of Valencia, north to near the Ebro Delta. It is a mainly flatish coastline, much of it being backed by orange groves and has some excellent beaches, popular with families. Gandia is the most southerly resort on the Costa del Azahar and has long stretches of fine sandy beach.


Oropesa del Mar area

Marina D´Or Holiday Resort is located in OROPESA DEL MAR, a lively and modern town which enjoys abundant sunshine and a mild and spring-like climate all year round. Lot of excursions can be made from here: The San Jose Caves, 50km away, with the longest navigable underground river in Europe; The town of Morella, 95km, has a medieval castle; Castellon de la Plana, the provincial capital with its Cathedral, Bell Tower, planetarium, etc is only 20km away; The Nature Reserve of Delta del Ebro, 85km from the resort, which is the most important wetland habitat in the Western Mediterranean with almost 325 species of birds. The resort can be reached from Valencia Manises Airport (90km south), but the future Castellon Airport is going to be located just 20km away. Also, the resort is easily reached by the AP7 motorway and the 340 national road.


How to get there

The Marina D'Or complex is in Oropesa Del Mar, which is 45 minutes from Valencia airport or 1 1/4 hrs from Reus, both serviced by Easyjet and Ryanair. It is within easy access of: Castellon - the capital of the province, Benicassim - large aquarium and go karting, three main golf courses, Port Aventura Theme Park- near Salou, a bird sanctuary, Ebro Delta - a wildlife nature reserve and Vinaros - bustling coastal town with diving, to name but a few. There are plenty of restaurants and bars within the complex , if you choose not to venture further afield.
