On arrival in Cyprus our British run Local Property Managers, with all native English-speaking representatives, will be on on hand to answer any questions and ensure that your transfer from the airport to the apartment is all taken care of for you.

Our Airport Pickup service will meet you at the airport and you will be transported directly to the apartment for hand over of keys and to be shown around the apartment and complex. A local charge applies for this service equivalent to the cost of the taxi or minibus.

If you are hiring a car then our complimentary Meet and Greet service will ensure that you will be met in an easy to find location in Oroklini village and accompanied to the apartment for hand over of the keys and to be shown around the apartment and complex.

The Larnaca region

Larnaca is a ten minute drive from Oroklini. On the outskirts there is a 1600 metre Go-kart track - the biggest in Cyprus (we personally highly recommend it!) - with a kiddie track and a large restaurant. On Larnaca beach front there is a large well kept Promenade and Marina with a huge variety of restaurants and bars - we would especially recommend The Alexander for delicious drinks - especially milkshakes - and puddings. There is even a Starbucks if you are missing your daily Latte! Larnaca also has plenty of shops - souvenir marts and clothes stores. The beaches just out of Larnaca are well worth a visit.

Nicosia is the historical capital of Cyprus. It is only 45 minutes from Cyprus Sunrise and is definitely well worth a visit. Nicosia is a beautiful, clean city that has far expanded the Venetian walls that originally surrounded it.
The Google Map location Pin literally points directly at the roof of our apartment so you will from this and the photos that it occupies the premium location on the complex, facing south west, overlooking the pool/waterfall and with views of the local countryside and sea in the background.

There are many places to visit in the city. One of them is The Cyprus Archaeological Museum. This could be described as the most important place to visit when you visit Nicosia. It gives you a great image of the history of Cyprus all the way back to prehistoric times. All the rooms in the museum offer a range of items from the famous and valuable, to the small pieces of pottery and coins. Another interesting place to visit is the Famagusta Gate & Nicosia Cultural Centre. The gate was the strongest and principal gate along the wall. The inner rooms and passage house have been restored and it is well worth exploring.

The Oroklini / Oroklini Village area

Oroklini has over half a dozen authentic Greek tavernas selling delicious traditional dishes as well as a variety of bars, three supermarkets and other stores. The tavernas offer live music and dancing as well as local and international food at competitive prices. In the village there is also an amusement park, go karts and horse riding. A beautiful blue flag beach with fantastic water sports and plenty of restaurants and bars is approximately a 25 minute walk from Cyprus Sunrise.

“Fantastic value, lovely apartment and relaxing by the pool” If you want a relaxing holiday by the pool with a bit of Greek-style exotica thrown in, this is it. Cyprus is an interesting island, you can do a bit of touring, then relax at the apartment and overlook the pool. The apartment is a generous size and has everything you need, is very new & in great condition. The owners were very helpful and thorough, they answered our questions promptly and well - this was better handled than other apartments elsewhere that we've stayed in! The village has no particular claim to fame but is a few miles inland of good beaches, with a mini-market 5-10 minutes' walk from the apartment, and some decent local shopping. The village is an easy drive from Larnaca airport, well sign-posted, in modest condition (pavements are in need of attention!). The apartment building is only a few years old, the pool was very pleasant, about 5 feet deep (not heated) with a toddler pool and a cool rock/waterfall structure on one side. You will need a car but driving is very easy and the apartment has undercover parking. For an inexpensive easy relaxing holiday in Cyprus this apartment is highly recommended!

"We know this part of Cyprus well and brought our parents out for the first time - they loved it! The apartment is comfortable, clean, spacious and very well furnished. The fantastic view from the terrace overlooking the coastline is a bonus. Oroklini village is quiet but has everything you need - and the bakeries are wonderful! Hiring a car is always recommended as this is a great island to explore."

"Myself and two of my best friends (we are all 22) came here on holiday at the end of Aug/Beginning of Sept and had a great time! The apartment is lovely and has everything that you could need. It was immaculately clean and extremely well-maintained. The owners are great! Very helpful and answered our questions very quickly. Having wi-fi in the apartment was great too! We found the village of Orokilini lovely, with 2 supermarkets (one being 24 hours which was helpful) and a bakery (also 24h). We didn't eat out a lot, but we did eat in a local restaurant called Bopeas (I think) and had an AMAZING meze and definitely a meze for 2 between 3 was more than enough! We also found a bar called The Only bar for when we wanted a drink but if you want somewhere lively then you would need to venture into Larnaca, or Aiya Napa for the full nightlife - but its not too far away. You would need to rent a car - as we did - if you want to get anywhere, but we ventured to all over the place. We definitely would recommend taking a day trip to Paphos and going to the Adonis baths - although a lovely little mountain track drive is the only way to get there. We also went to Lara bay which was very secluded, and more of a wavy beach. Another day we went to the Waterpark in Aiya Napa which was great fun! Everything is so close by car that there really is something for everyone. I would definitely recommend this apartment and visiting Cyprus to anyone. If you are a group of girls who just wants to relax and see some sites, this is a great place to visit. Perfect for couples and also families. We had a great time and you don't need to spend a lot!! "The apartment is as described. Beautifully furnished and very luxurious. A fantastic place to stay in. We were collected by the local management service who drove us to the apartment and explained everything about it. The village it is located in is very quiet and we hired a car for some of our time there. We visited Nissi Beach in Ayia Napa twice and also spent time on the beach at Protaras. These were only a 25 minute drive away We really enjoyed our days out there. Crystal clear sea and fine golden sand. The bonus was that there was not too many other people about. We found one very good taverna in the village called Voreas and ate there 3 times in the week we were there. A local supermarket allowed us to buy our provisions and we did use the local 24hr bakery to get cakes on a couple of occasions. We did walk to the local beach but it wasn't a patch on the others I have mentioned. We concluded our stay with a local bus trip to Larnaca. We had a good day wandering around this busy large town. The promenade and Marina being a highlight. If you are looking for busy nightlife this is not the place for you but if you want a quiet place to base yourself for visits to the East Coast of Cyprus in a car then I recommend this apartment."

"We have just returned from a lovely holiday in Cyprus where we spent a week in this comfy apartment. This home from home is on the third floor of the Mediterranean Sunrise Complex which consists of some holiday and residential apartments. Communication with the owners and management company, prior to and during our stay was very good and provided confidence in the whole experience. The apartment is furnished to a good standard with modern, functional and sturdy furniture ideal for rental. It was very clean and well maintained and we appreciated the tea/coffee/milk welcome pack when we arrived. We loved the large balcony for sunny breakfasts, spectacular sunsets and for relaxing on an evening watching the air show that is Larnaca Airport (no noise from planes though). The views of the coastline and sea were lovely too. Balcony furniture was comfortable and practical and there was always a shady spot to be found at any time of the day. The pool area is clean and the water lovely and cool in the height of summer. The pool was never too busy even in August and if there should be no communal loungers available, then there are ones belonging to the apartment in the storage area. The main pool has no shallow end but the children's pool is quite big and about 2' deep. Water is exceptionally clean and we noticed it was cleaned and maintained almost daily. The village is a ten minute walk away, all on the flat but we appreciated the use of a hire car for the holiday which meant we could do some sightseeing. The village has a few tavernas of various quality, we would recommend The Corfu for good, reasonable food and good atmosphere. There are adequate shops in the village, including a few small supermarkets and a couple of banks as well as a pharmacy and medical centre. The bakeries are a revelation, staying open 24hrs and I'm currently having withdrawal from my daily cake and ice cream fix picked up in one of them. The beach we used was a short drive away to the municipal beach at Pyla just of the Dhekelia Road which is a nice sandy beach with shallow water and reasonably priced loungers and parasols. There is a small shop selling food and drink, again reasonably priced and not too crowded. I would recommend a holiday in this apartment and location and will certainly return ourselves."

The pool and pool area was kept very clean, being that the complex is quite small, ourselves and the kids got to know other people that were staying there at the time. There were quite a few eating and drinking places in the village, but it is a bit spread out.. We hired a car for 7 days out of our 12 day stay (which we would recommend) and visited Larnaca and Ayia Napa, which we all enjoyed.
