About the home
One of several three bedroom villas featured on this unique development of nine properties in the village of Orklini. The development prides itself on its hotel like services and facilities while the villas themselves are furnished and equipped to a high standard and surrounded by colourful and carefully tended gardens.
The ground floor of each villa features a spacious living area equipped with satellite TV (limited channels) DVD, CD/Radio. The kitchen is equipped with an oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave and the dining table comfortably seats 6. A separate guest cloakroom is also found on this floor.
Stairs lead to the first floor where all three bedrooms are located. The master double bedroom features an en-suite bathroom and the two twin bedrooms share a full family bathroom. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning units for either cooling or heating*. A safety deposit box is provided, and a baby cot and highchair are available on request.
Outside each villa is an 8 metre x 4 metre private swimming pool surrounded by a sunbathing terrace equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, table & chairs. A barbecue is provided for summer dining al fresco on those warm summer evenings. The more energetic holidaymaker can take advantage of the on site private tennis court for which equipment can be hired from the reception.
Many additional services can be provided by reception including extra housekeeping, email/internet services, hairdressing, beauty/massage treatments, baby sitting, excursions and cruises (all at a supplement). With many years experience in the hotel industry the villa owners pride themselves on their attention to detail and warm hospitality and will do everything they can to make your stay as welcoming and memorable as possible.

The Larnaca region
Larnaca, the oldest town in Cyprus, is approximately 15 kilometres away, and the airport just to the south of the town is approximately 20 kilometres away. Once an important trading centre from where the islands main export of copper was shipped, the modern city is built over the ruins of the ancient city kingdom. The town has a unique atmosphere and is a wonderful place to explore on foot as you'll constantly make new discoveries, a coffee shop, a small Church etc or take a stroll along the palm lined promenade on the picturesque seafront and linger in one of the stylish pavement cafes. Cyprus has many churches, temples and monuments belonging to both Christianity and Islam as the island is split between Greek and Turkish communities. Larnaca is no exception to this having both the magnificent Orthodox Church of Ayios Lazaros built in the town over the tomb of St Lazarus and on the banks of the salt lakes, the Hala Sultan Tekke one of the Holiest Shrines of Islam built over the tomb of Umm Haram said to be the maternal aunt of the prophet Mohammad.
Ayia Napa approximately 35 kilometres away was once a small fishing village which has been more recently promoted as a clubbers paradise with a varied and vibrant nightlife concentrated in the towns central square. Families are rediscovering the delights of the resort by steering away from the square and spending days on the beautiful blue flag beaches and mellow evenings strolling the pedestrianised harbour area and dining at one its selection of cafes and restaurants. Ayia Napa boasts the biggest themed waterpark in Europe with exhilarating rides providing fun and entertainment for all age groups.
Protaras its quieter neighbour offers a wide range of friendly restaurants, cosy tavernas, bars and shopping opportunities to suit the whole family. The famous Fig Tree Bay with its clear turquoise sea and fine golden sand is understandably popular with both visitors and locals alike.
Outdoor activities in Oriklini and the surrounding towns and villages include water-sports, go-karting, horse riding, bowling, a Cineplex and Camel Park.
The Oroklini area
The village of Oriklini sits inland between the town of Larnaca and the holiday resort of Ayia Napa. The villas are located on a private cul-de-sac in the village within walking distance of a selection of bars, restaurants and shopping facilities. Parts of the village have been restored to their original traditional style and with dining out being at the heart of village social life you can enjoy some of these fine rustic restaurants. A selection of international restaurants can be found along the coastal road that runs from Larnaca town to Dhekhelia approximately 4 kilometres away.
Within a few minutes drive of the villas is the sandy bay of Yannathes beach, which is the main beach for the Oriklini area. Along with Yannathes Beach, five other beaches in the Larnaca district are proud recipients of the blue flag award. Of interest to scuba divers is the Zenobia dive site, where a capsized ferry of 172 metres sank off the Larnaca coastline in 1980 and now rests on her port side in approximately 40 metres of water. This site has been named as one of the top ten wreck diving sites in the world.

Pearson - 3rd time we have stayed at this villa and enjoyed it every time.
