The Larnaca District
The delightful soft sand beaches of Golden Bay are just a 5 minute drive from the property, where the safe shallow Meditterranean waters are ideal for children and a delight for all. Water sports on the beach include paragliding, scuba diving and wind surfing. Larnaca town centre is just a ten minute drive with a wide variety of shops including many high street names as well as beautiful local stores. For those looking for a night out or special lunchtime meal then Larnaca Marina with its wide variety of bars, restaurants and nightlife is the place to be. Local taxis to and from Oroklini are reasonably prices. Please ask us for recommendations when booking. Visit The Sunday Market on the Dekelia Road, an excellent way to spend the morning browsing the local products and getting a bargin or two to take back with you.
Oroklini / Oroklini Village area
The nearest bar is a 5 minute walk from the property, and for evening entertainment the delightful village of Oroklini offers a selection of restaurants and tavernas. These offer typical Cypriot cuisine and European dishes. There are many shops in the village offering all general amenities; banks, doctors, dentists and pharmacies.
For those wishing to explore the beautiful island of Cyprus you couldn't be better located. The village is approx 30 minutes from the capital Nicosia and 30 minutes from Ayia Napa and its water parks. Don't miss visiting the Farmasgusta view point, and Cyprus' best kept secret, the stunning beaches of Fig Tree Bay. A trip to the Troodos mountain range is a must when visiting the island, during the months January to April snow fall on the summit is up to a metre deep, allowing skiing on the three ski slopes at a fraction of the cost of the more fashionable resorts. In Cyprus you really can ski in the morning and sun bath on the beach in the afternoon!
How to get there
When you arrive at Larnaca Airport you'll be amazed at how quickly you can reach your holiday destination:
At the first roundabout, just outside the airport, turn left.
At the next roundabout, turn right taking the motorway to Nicosia (this will be sign posted 'Lefkosia')
At the next roundabout go under the bridge taking the motorway to Ayia Napa.
Take the 3rd exit (Junction 58) towards Oroklini Village.
Follow this main village road gradually upwards towards the centre of the village.
Or you can make things even easier and take a taxi from the airport - they will all know the Oroklini village.

Further details indoors: The bungalow has an LCD TV, please note the TV does not include a satellite subscription so you will be able to receive one English language channel and 3 Greek language channels.
The bungalow has a DVD player which can also play audio CDs. Don't forget to bring your CDs and DVDs along.
Further details outdoors: Tennis court is not full size but floodlit and fenced off from communal areas. Property also benefits from a shared gym and squash court. Squash court is full size and located below the gym area. Gym has running machine, free weights and exercise mats. There are communal showers and toilets in the gym area for guest and visitors. Facilities are available for your visitors staying elsewhere but they are not available for the general public. This protects the property and standard of facilities.
The property is accessible for wheelchair users. There is a low wide step up from the communal area at the front of the property onto the front terrace in order to access the main door. Apart from this the communal areas are flat and accessed via a ramp from the parking area. As the property is a bungalow and was built in 2007 internally it is also suitable for wheelchair users.
