Villa Melina is a 2 bedroom semi detached house and is a 5min drive from the centre of Oroklini village. It is situated along th Dekelia coastal road. It offers a private pool, gates around the property that make it safe for children, private parking,sea view from main bedroom balcony and is near a location that is full of activities such as water sports, horse riding, golf and diving. It is located just 3 min walk from the beach, 10 min car ride to Larnaca centre, and is just near the motorway links for anyone who wants to explore Cyprus and see this beautiful country and all it has to offer. The main bedroom has a king size bed and the second bedroom has two 3 1/4 beds, air condition and heating throughout the home, upstairs main bathroom with shower also. Downstairs, there is cloakroom with wc and hand basin, large fridge freezer in kitchen, satellite tv, video and dvd. Screened outside shower with hot and cold water near pool. Cot is also available. For those who would like to come with a second family , there is the option of a second villa, with exact details, next to villa Melina.

The Larnaca District
If you have been to Cyprus before, then you will know what it has to offer. For those who are visiting for the first time, you will have so much to discover. It is an Island that has 10 thousand years of history and the many civilizations that have passed through, have left their mark.
Today, Cyprus has a mixture of modern, old, European and cosmopolitan. You have the choice of days out to the mountain regions, with their fabulous views, ancient ruins among olive groves and vineyards, visit traditional villages where you can eat at their local tavernas, or just relax on one of the many beautiful beaches on the island. Larnaca is only a short drive from all of what there is to see or do. The climate of Cyprus is what makes this island such a desirable destination. With the sun shining most of the year, you won’t want to stay indoors for long.
Oroklini area
The Villa is a few mins car ride to amenities such as, shops, chemists grocery stores. There are also many hotels nearby if you want to enjoy what is on offer there, or visit local tavernas, wine bars, etc, which are all a short distance away. If you prefer not to hire a car, there are regular buses going into Larnaca centre, where there are many interesting shops.
Oroklini is on the outskirts of Larnaca and has many activities and attractions to offer. Watersports can be anything from paragliding, to scuba diving, speedboat hire and boat trips.
SHOPPING- Larnaca town centre is a10 min drive away. It has a wide range of shops offering jewellery, leather goods, local crafts, souvenirs plus sophisticated shopping for designer wear. PHINIGOUDES- The Larnaca Promenade again is only a 10 min drive and is parallel to the shopping area. It is a fabulous area for cafes, restaurants, bars, ice cream parlours and seafront fish restaurants. And for anyone who wants, there is KFC, Macdonalds and Pizza Hut. Cyprus is very child friendly and most restaurants welcome families with children even in the evening. There is also a small fairground for young children in the Phinigoudes area.
Oroklini is only 25 mins drive to Ayia Napa,where there is a water world, and 30min to Nicosia, the capital.
How to get there
Larnaca airport is only 20/25 mins transfer to your holiday home. There are a number of airlines that you can get cheap flights with to Larnaca Airport.
After arrival, you can either get a taxi, which shouldn't cost no more than £10, or a car can be arranged for you at the Airport.

Further details indoors: There is a gate that can be attached to the bottom of the stairs for anyone with young children.There is an internal downstairs toilet. The single beds are actually 3.1/2 ft wide so could sleep two young children each. Dining table and chairs are on the veranda, under lighted, covered pergola, facing the pool. Breakfast bar in kitchen.
Further details outdoors: Secure gates offer safety for young children and the outside screened shower is handy as an extra shower area or for washing off sand from the beach before entering the property or pool. There is also a cot available.

Conditions
20% deposit on booking (non refundable) and the remainder of the rental fee to be paid 8 wks prior to your booked dates. Strictly no smoking except on balcony and outdoors, please use ashtrays. Anyone using the pool must shower sand off in outside shower, before swimming.
