About the home

Two bedrooms self catering apartment on an small development with 2 apartments. Fully equipped with air-conditioning for the two bedrooms and also in living room - kitchen and a join balcony, internet access, satellite plasma TV. The apartment has another big balcony overlooking the sea. It has 2 sunbeds table and 4 chairs where you can enjoy your early morning coffee or relax reading or sunbathing in the sun.
In the area of the beach there's a pedestrian zone for walking by the sea ideal for relaxing times.
Minute's away with-in walking distance there are tavernas with a "local" feel. Restaurants, quaint tavernas,bars and tourist shops.

Only a 15 minute drive from Larnaca airport and just 5 meters (few feet) from the beach.

Brand new real leather living room(May 2012). Air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms, lounge equipped with satellite 32 inch plasma TV, DVD player, DVD's, dining area which seats 6 people. FREE Broadband/wireless internet connection is also installed.

Kitchen is superbly equipped with fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, toaster, kettle as well as ample storage space. All crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc are provided. An iron and ironing board is also included.

Both bedrooms are furnished with ample wardrobe storage, and a bedside table in each room. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other twin single beds, which can be pushed together to create another king size if required. The bathroom has a bath with towels provided.

On the ground floor there's a taverna with sea food and within easy walking distance more than 5 tavernas, all of them serve delicious food at very reasonable prices.

The Larnaca region

The ancient town of Larnaca is a popular starting point for travel around the beautiful island of Cyprus. The main international airport is here and Larnaca flights set down tourists keen to explore the many sunny beaches that surround the resort. This is the perfect for Cypriot summer holiday: excellent weather, warm clear seas, sandy beaches and palm trees. The watersports are also good, and the area is popular with divers and snorkellers, especially around the harbour where the wreck of the Zenobia sits.

Most holidaymakers visiting Cyprus arrive from flights to Larnaca and head straight to the main beach resorts. But to do so is to miss much in this old city. While the modern day town has spread a long way, with plenty of hotels and restaurants sprawling from the beach, the old city centre remains in good condition. The Byzantine Church of St Lazarus is in the town's centre and dates to the 9th century. After visiting, take a stroll along the seafront promenade, which is one of the most attractive in the country, lined with palm trees

If you have transport, it is also worth exploring some of the nearby villages. Less full of tourists than Larnaca itself, towns such as Lefkara or the small villages in the Troodos Mountains are all easily accessible in a day.

The Oroklini / Palm Beach Area area

The area which is the apartment is well know as Dhekelia Tourist Area.

Minute's away with-in walking distance there are tavernas with a "local" feel, many tourist shops,(restaurants), Bars-Pubs, Tourist shops,ATM Bank machine,Pharmacy, tennis court, jewellery shop,supermarker, butchery, mini market, hairdressers.

All you can ask is close by.

If you have young children the beach is safe with its shallow crystal clear water which have been accredited with the internationally recognised Blue Flag Award.. It's fun and within short walking distance water sports are available.

If you like walking near the beach there's a pedestrian zone to stroll by the sea ideal for relaxing times.

Cyprus has a Mediterranean climate — the sun shines year-round, summers are long and dry and winters are mild.Temperatures are high in summer, reaching the 34s (Celsius) in July and August, but the sea breezes cool in the coastal areas. Winter temperatures can be in the teens and 20s but rarely drop below 10 degrees. If you are travelling with children you can visit WaterWorld (its the biggest theme-waterpark in europe with a great variety of slides. The park's theme is "Ancient Greece") which is located just 20 min by car or you can visit the Camel Park 25 min away by car.

“We wish we were still there” The service we received was second to none! The owners were friendly, honest, eager to help, and most professional. The apartment far exceeded our expectations, it was lovely. The location for us was great, we were on the seafront / beach to start with the local supermarkets were within walking distance and so were local bars and restaurants. Most of all we liked the sea view from the balcony. What we liked the least during our stay was that we had a couple of windy days shame the owners couldn't organise this a bit better :-)

“We will be back” If you want a fantastic sea weave you have to come here! We have stay in this apartment for the second time in 2012, and we want to come back already in February next year, then for 4 weeks. The flat has everything we need, and here we also have all nearby: restaurants, supermarkets, and a short trip with bus if we want to visit the town Larnaca. Swimming you can do right outside the door, or you can have a walk on a good walkway or direct in the sand along the beach, - both far from all traffic! We are a retired couple who pleasure traveling, and for us is this place perfect. We think the apartment also are good for a small family who want to have an quietly vacation. “What a view!” We stayed for 3 weeks at Orikilini Apartment Hotel in July of 2011. The minute we turned the key and opened the door we were impressed! The first thing we saw was a beautiful view of the ocean along with a refreshing breeze that greeted us. We were located on the water next to shops, restaurants and the boardwalk. There was so much to do in the vicinity not including all the site seeing we did . The neighbors who reside next to the apartment were so helpful in giving us information and guiding us through some questions we had about tourism. This apartment comes fully equipped with all the amenities including sheets, towels, dishes etc. It was very clean and comfortable . We had an enjoyable stay!
