Situated at the eastern edge of Oroklini village, the bespoke Mediterranean Sunrise Complex provides all the necessary ingredients for the holiday maker to relax and unwind. The site was completed in 2006 and is a mix of residential dwellings and a limited number of apartments available as holiday lets. The complex and Oroklini area are ideal for families and couples seeking a more relaxed holiday. Apartment 301 on the top floor has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 4 adults and 1 small toddler and comprises a master en-suite bedroom with king size bed, a 2nd bedroom with two singles and a main bathroom with bath and shower facilities. A spacious living room with two contemporary sofas, TV, CD/DVD/MP3 player, fully fitted kitchen and dining area offers home from home living. The generously sized private balcony has a large table for al fresco dining and a 4 seater bench on which to enjoy those beautiful sunset views over the village and hills of Oroklini.

The Larnaca District
Enjoy the Mediterranean climate all year round with long, dry Summers, a mild Winter season and short Autumn and Spring periods. The established village of Oroklini is a short drive or bus ride from Larnaca which has many shops, bars and restaurants for you to enjoy. The town has a large sandy beach and is host to many tourist attractions without losing it's local character and charm. All facilities associated with a town such as a hospital, dentists, banks, supermarkets and a tourist information centre are established and readily available. The Cypriot people are most hospitable and English is widely spoken, although a few basic words such as Yassas (Hello), Parakalor (Please) and Efcharistoh (Thank You) are always appreciated.
Oroklini area
All necessary facilities such as local supermarkets, bank, money exchange, taxi service, laundry, bakery, bars and cafes are but a short walk from the apartment. English is widely spoken and you will be assured of a very warm welcome at any of the Oroklini tavernas and restaurants where the delights of the local cuisine along with traditional music and dancing can be enjoyed in a friendly, Cypriot atmosphere. Sample traditional dishes such as Meze, a multi course experience combining speciality appetizers that mix Western ingredients with Eastern zest and of course the many local fresh sea food dishes that are on offer. Cafes, shops and bars adorn the coast road and cater for almost everyone's tastes. In Larnaca the famous St. Lazarus Church is situated in the old part of the town and near to Larnaca Fort Museum. There are many attractions and leisure activities in the Larnaca District such as visiting ancient archaeological sites, the Salt Lake and it's flamingos, boat trips and mini cruises to Egypt , Water Parks, a Camel Park, 1500m Go-Kart track, off-roading by quadbike and year round festivals and celebrations.
Enjoy the warm Mediterranean waters from one of the select local beaches (Blue Flag is 3km from the village), where beach volleyball, children's play area, fishing and watersports such as scuba diving at world famous dive sites (HMS Cricket and the Zenobia Ferry) are on offer. If you are not an experienced diver why not study for your PADI qualification at home on line, and take the practical modules whilst on holiday?
Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, is just a 40 minute drive North from the village. This cosmopolitan city is of particular historical and political interest being the sole remaining divided city in Europe. View the 'Green Line' from the observation tower and learn about the different influencing cultures that have contributed in forming the character of this unique island.
How to get there
British Airways & Cyprus Airways run daily direct flights to Larnaca however it is worth searching Charter Flight companies such as Excel, Monarch & Thompson for comparable pricing. We have found that by booking well in advance flights have been secured at favourable rates. Expect to pay between GBP150 to 300 depending on the season and how far in advance the tickets are purchased.
Car Hire can be arranged in advance using the internet or telephone. Avis & Sixth are two of the more well known car hire companies with offices at Larnaca Airport. Cyprus traffic drives on the left, roads for major towns are well maintained and signposted in Greek & English.
The airport facility is well serviced by taxi if you prefer not to drive.
Oroklini Village, also known as Voroklini, is well connected to all major destinations and is no more than a 30 minute drive from Larnaca International Airport via the lightly used motorway. You may however, choose to take the coast road through Larnaca town. Directions for both routes are supplied by us at the time of booking.

Further details indoors: The apartment decor is a mix of contemporary and traditional design with tiled floors in the main living areas. Fixed air conditioning/heating is provided in order to maintain a comfortable temperature throughout. The dining room and kitchen to balcony doors glide open extending the living space and offering panoramic views to the west. The kitchen is fully fitted with all appliances and culinary items needed for cooking should you wish to enjoy a cosy night at home. A washing machine, iron etc. are provided for your convenience. Both bedrooms have warm laminate flooring and are fully fitted with wall to ceiling wardrobes. Choice of bath or shower is available.
Further details outdoors: The shaped outdoor pool was specifically designed for the Mediterranean Sunrise complex and comprises of a waterfall, rock features, footbridge, jacuzzi and separate paddling pool for younger children. Sun loungers are provided and this area is also walled and fenced off for added privacy. Showers and toilet facilities have been included adjacent to the pool area for the guests convenience. Palm trees and colourful flower beds surround the grounds of the complex and a mixture of lighting features enhance the evening ambience.
