This new luxurious 1 bedroom apartment is fully air-conditioned and is located on the 1st floor that can be accessed by both a lift or stairs. The apartment benefits from an open plan layout and equipped to a high standard with a large shared communal pool and is within a secure gated complex with its own allocated parking. The apartment is perfect for couples yet equally suitable for a small family or even a group of upto four looking for fun in the sun.
The fully fitted kitchen area includes a washing machine, fridge freezer, oven and hob, and the dining area can comfortably seat four. The living area has two large sofa-beds, plasma screen TV, DVD player, the TV can also be connected to play MP3/iPod via the USB connection. From the living area there are patio doors which lead out onto a beautiful spacious balcony with table and seating for 4 and stunning views of the orchards and the mountains allowing al fresco dining. The bedroom is light and airy has ample cupboard space with 1 double bed. The bathroom has ample storage space with linen and towels provided it has a modern finish with bath/shower.
Amenities are within walking distance, including two supermarkets, excellent bakeries, tavernas, pubs, takeaways, DVD and bicycle hire, pharmacy and medical centre. There are several blue flag beaches nearby. Slightly out from the village you can find a much more competitive supermarket and other shopping facilities. Further a field, Larnaca is a 10 minute drive away, with a wide range of shops, restaurants, marina and leisure activities. The popular destination of Ayia Napa is approximately 25 minutes away, Nicosia 40 minutes by car, and the Troodhos Mountains can be reached in just under an hour by car.

This new apartment comprises of a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with overhead shower. The bedroom has a double bed with built in wardrobes and two sofa beds in the lounge area. The lounge/dining area leads outside via the patio doors to the large balcony with table and chairs for al-fresco dining.
The view can be seen of the mountain ranges and surrounding orchards from the balcony. The interior is spacious, light and airy. Lift access makes it easy for wheelchair users and the elderly.

The Mountain View Complex has good security with an electronic gate and a large shared pool. The grounds are landscaped. The complex is maintained to a high standard and has an alloctaed parking space per apartment.
A security deposit of £100 for breakages is to be taken in advance and will be refunded (subject to property inspection, less 5% PayPal fee off the total sum).
Strictly no smoking except on the balcony.

The Larnaca region
Cyprus is steeped in history with the Romans, Byzantines, Greeks and British having all left a little of their cultures behind. Inland you can explore the pine-scented Troodhos Mountains, archaic monasteries and quiet and quaint untouched villages.
It is the birthplace of Aphrodite and has something for all ages with archaeological treasures and 9,000 year-old monuments for those looking for a more sedate holiday. By contrast, the main resorts buzz during the day for shopping hotspots and the evening for night life that runs into the small hours.
Choose from lively clubs, local tavernas or beach side restaurants serving fresh seafood. Experience the famed Cypriot hospitality and glorious sunsets. During the day, there are a wide variety of sports and activities to enjoy. Alternatively, head for the wonderful golden beaches and relax in the sun.
A relatively small Mediterranean island with year-round good weather. Summer stretches from May to October with high temperatures, clear blue skies and gentle cooling breezes on the coast. Rain is rare in the summer. With its hot/dry summers and short mild winters, Cyprus is the warmest, driest island in the Mediterranean, with sunshine guaranteed almost all year-round.
Larnaca, boasts a marina, palm-lined waterfront promenade, a children's play area, restaurants, numerous bars and is just a 10 minute drive from the village of Oroklini. A drive along the beach takes you to "Faros" famous for it's lighthouse and nearby "Spiros Beach" where you will find water-sports and other beach activities.
The popular resort of Ayia Napa is within easy reach by car. This is an area of outstanding natural beauty and located only 5 kms away are the famous salt lakes, which are the sanctuary of flamingos, swans and other migrating birds.
The Oroklini / Oroklini Village area
Oroklini is situated 8km north east of Larnaca town centre, it provides all amenities and is ideal for both holiday seekers and residential dwellers alike. Oroklini is well known for its local traditions such as the September Festival and for a serene and tranquil family life. It has a population of about 3000 and is a very popular destination for family holidays.
Only 1 km from all main traffic routes, the International Airport is only 15 minutes away. Ayia Napa & Protaras can be reached within 30 minutes, Nicosia within 40 minutes, Limassol within 50 minutes and the Troodhos Mountains in an hour.
Oroklini village offers a wide range of shops including a supermarket, butchers, bakeries, bank, pharmacy, laundry & dry cleaners.
Over the last few years the village has continued to grow with new private homes and the renovation of existing houses in the 'older quarter'. Some parts of the village have been restored to the original traditional style and Oroklini village boasts some fine restaurants and cafes.
The village is located close to sandy beaches which have the international Blue Flag award, and has a wonderful mountain backdrop which offers spectacular views of the surroundings.
South of Oroklini village, next to the Larnaca to Ayia Napa motorway is the shallow natural Oroklini Lake which is a must see for bird watchers. There are also nature trails, an animal ranch, which has horse and donkey rides and the Oroklini Go-Kart & Amusement Park as well as many beach activities including paragliding, jet skis, banana boats, fly-fish, pedalos and great snorkeling.

Flights available from all major airports, direct into Larnaca, using British Airways, Cyprus Airlines, EasyJet Thompson Fly, Monarch airlines and many others. These can be booked via the internet, local travel agents and other booking outlets. Paphos airport can be an option too and is approx. 90 mins drive and just 15minutes from Larnaca airport.

A well appointed apartment in a small complex near the top end of Oroklini village. A bit of construction work in the area to the roads but should be finished soon. The pool is small but clean and useable. Transport is probably needed to explore the area and to visit nearby Larnaca. Good value for money and would stay there again. 8 out of 10.

Arrived late at night and was very disappointed to find, not only was the bed unmade but the bedding( which we think was clean) was screwed up in the cupboard. This along with the fact that apartment hadn't been cleaned - bath full of sand, fridge with food left in, did not make a good start to our holiday. Saw no sign of management company and passed keys on to next occupants who seemed just as shocked as us about the arrangement.
Identified a direct issue with the management company. Since then have sourced a new management company. The property is always checked before and after each stay. If any guest does not leave the property clean for the next guest, then they notify as a matter of priority. All these steps have been placed to ensure a more pleasant stay for my guests...who are my priority.

Went in Sept 11, Was a perfect holiday for first time abroad.
Apartment was perfect, clean, spacious and modern! The weather was gorgeous too which was a bonus
Pool area was very clean and perfect for sunbathing!
Im recommending this resort to all my friends and family, and will definetly be going back next year!
Locals are all lovely and great bars, cafes etc just a 10minute walk away!
See you next year Cyprus!
