Home description

The apartment is on the first floor and has 2 bedrooms and 2 balconies. The lounge area has two sofa-beds, TV, DVD and CD radio. Balcony off the lounge area provides outdoor dining and views of the mountains. The fully equipped kitchen and lounge area are open plan providing a spacious feel.
The apartment is situated 15 mins from Larnaca and 5mins in a car to a blue flag beach , however it is nt essential to venture out of the village at night with the local tavernas offering excellent value for money and entertainment.

The Larnaca District

Cyprus is know historically as the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, the famous Aphrodite rock is in the Paphos area. It has all year round sunshine ( average 340 days) and excellent sandy beaches and mountains, the latter offers the opportunity for skiing in the winter. The average temperatures are 19 degrees celcius in winter and 28 degrees celcius in the summer months. Phaphos is only a 2 hour drive (driving on the left hand side of the road) and is the home of the famous pelican restaurant with the resident pelicans who love plenty of attention. Larnaca marina is only 15 mins drive where boat and diving trips can be booked. After a busy day, relax in one of the cafes or restaurant on the promenade at Larnaca or enjoy a fish meze at the mckenzies end of Larnaca.
Agia Napa is only 45 monutes away and is reniund for its nightlife and is popular with holiday makers. Protaras has beautiful beaches and some of the best snorkelling and diving can be found. Limassol is a large city (population 163,900), it has a large marina and a few golf courses nearby.

Oroklini area

The main area of Orkolini offers a range of shops, including a 24 hour bakery, a supermarket, a bank, a chemist, an animal range with horse and donkey rides and even go-karting. The village also boasts a range of fine tavernas that offer excellent value for money. Five minutes drive from Oroklini is the main road that offers both daytime actiivities such as diving trips, beach and nighlife in the fom of nightclubs, bars and taverna.

How to get there

Only 20mins by car from Larnaca, Taxi from airport approx 12 Cyp pounds. Car hire can be arranged direct from airport. local blue flag beach only 5 mins away by car.
