About the home

Our luxury Florida vacation rental villa has been designed and furnished to the highest standard to give guests the luxurious holiday they deserve. It has a 28' heated pool with a lake view. We provide free phone calls including long distance and international so you can tell everyone what a wonderful time you are having.

You will be met at the villa by our agents who will provide you with a welcome pack of food and your choice of beer or wine so there is no chasing around looking for keys after your long flight. They will give you a tour of the villa and explain things to you. They will be a phone call away in the unlikely event of problems.

Facilities

The upper storey consists of four bedrooms all with cable TV/DVD. There is a Master bedroom with king size bed, en-suite and a huge walk in closet, two bedrooms with queen size beds and a twin room complete with X-box. There is also a family bathroom.
Downstairs is the formal family room with a large comfortable sofa which converts to a queen size bed and an equally comfy love seat (two seater sofa). Off this room there is a washroom and toilet. At the back of the villa is a family room with a sectional sofa and coffee table which adjusts making it suitable for use as a table for eating. Here you will find a stereo system, 32” cable TV and video/DVD player. We provide a selection of board games, books, DVD movies and CDs for your enjoyment.
The dining area has a table with six chairs and two chairs at the large kitchen island. There is a fully-equipped kitchen with a large walk in larder. Off the kitchen is a laundry/utility room which leads to the 2 car garage where you can also find a fussball table.
Cots can be ordered for a small extra charge payable locally.

The large, private 28'x14' pool is heated when necessary and has underwater lighting. High quality pool furniture including loungers and tables. It is covered by a pool screen that lets in the sun but keeps any unwelcome visitors such as mossies out. This includes privacy screening on the side. BBQs can be rented from our agents but by law these must be used outside the pool screen. There is a community pool, Cabana and children's playground.
This is a mixed community of rental and residential dwellings. It is approximately 6 miles from Disney (10 mins) and close to all the other local attractions. Within walking distance there is a bank, post office, supermarket, fast food restaurant and pharmacy. There are many restaurants on the US 192, just a five minute drive away. So everything you need is very close to hand.
Only 30-40 minutes from Orlando international airport and an hour from Sanford. Busch gardens, Kennedy Space Centre as well as Cocoa beach can be reached in an hour with Gulf beaches a little longer. Other theme parks such as Seaworld & Universal can be reached in 20-30 minutes.
There are numerous golf courses within a few minutes drive.

The Florida / Orlando Disney Area region

Florida is sub-tropical so has hot humid weather in summer (mid 90's) and mainly warm weather (mid 70's) in winter. Orlando is famous for it's theme parks but Florida has alot more to offer including it's beaches, the space centre, the Everglades, the Keys and much more.

The Orlando / Sunrise Lakes area

Sunrise Lakes is a walled community on hwy 27 just off US192. This is a mixed community of rental and residential dwellings. It is approximately 6 miles from Disney (10 mins) and close to all the other local attractions. It is an excellent base for visiting all of the theme parks in and around Orlando and Central Florida. There are many restaurants along 192 just a few minutes drive.

“Wonderfully amazing vacation” In my opinion, the perfect vacation is to enjoy when you are out and having fun and to enjoy and relax when you are back to where you stay.. It was our perfect vacation.

“Spacious House Removed from the Crowds” Overall, our stay at the Vilu Reef was ok. The positive: the owner, Dave, was extremely kind and helpful, as were the people from the property management; the house was clean and spacious; there was a Walmart nearby that had everything we needed for our stay; the neighborhood was quiet. The negative: The bed in the master bedroom had major body impressions and was too soft for my liking; the house could have been better stocked (no pancake griddle, no extra toilet paper or kitchen trash bags); the Walmart was a zoo at times at there were no other stores within a 5 minute drive. We went to Orlando to enjoy the theme parks with our 5 children ranging in ages from 3 to 16. We knew the house wasn't as close to the theme parks as we would have liked, but chose it for the price and space. We thought we would spend more time at the house to unwind and relax. The time we did spend there was relaxing. However, we didn't spend as much time at the house as we had planned, due to the lengthy travel times to and from the parks (15-20min from Disney). If we had it to do over again we would choose something closer to the theme parks. Response: Our villa is positioned conveniently for Disney Animal Kingdom. The Disney complex is large and no matter where you stay some of their parks will be a long distance. We are more convenient for the gulf beaches and Busch Gardens than some villas. There are other stores close to us. Sweetbay is actually walking distance and closer than Walmart. If you drive, there is a Publix within 5 minutes just on 192. I have noted your comments regarding the master bed but as to softness this is obviously a personal thing. Pancakes can be cooked in the frying pan. We provide enough essentials to start your holiday off along with a welcome pack of food and drink.

“I cannot praise this rental enough! Excellent!” The villa is in an excellent location - close to everything you need! It is a gorgeous property and extremely clean, well set out and perfect for a group of people or a family. A personal highlight was sitting by the pool in the evening, overlooking the sunset on the lake. The service was good too - arrive and collect the keys and the person from the management company gave us great hints about the area etc. There is nothing that I would change about this rental, I would definitely visit again and I cannot recommend it enough.

We allow pets but a steam cleaning charge is made for after your stay.
