The house is placed in a peaceful courtyard in the heart of the village, it is at walking distance from shops, restaurants and bars. One double bed and a sofa bed provide the ideal place for couples or families. The cane roof with hand made tiles and thick earth walls create a naturally insulated environment to enjoy both in summer and winter.

In close proximity of Is Arenas golf courses (8km) the only one in Europe open all year round. Other amenities in the area are: horse riding on beaches and salt lake, birdwatching, river fishing, surfing, snorkelling, looking for ship relics, archaeological sites and the many festivals happening on this island.

The Sardinia region

Sinis, this is the name of the area, has a great varieties of beaches such as quartz or fine sand. It is possible to enjoy the sea from April to October. On a day trip you can reach the wild island of Malu Entu. Sinis is rich in water , there are lakes and rivers full of fishes, amazing salt lakes with flamingoes and other unique animals for birdwatcher. Nearby there is also a waterfall in a woodland with an interesting wildlife.

The area is very interesting from an archaeological point of view, close by there is the ancient town of Tharros, Cornus and several Nuraghi, the mysterious stone towers.

Oristano / Riola Sardo area

Every season has its festivals: tomatoes, asparagus or collecting grapes feast. The most famous attraction is 'Sartiglia' in Oristano a horse race, ridden with symbolism.

The weather in this area is lovely so you have every opportunity to enjoy the laid back lifestyle, the sandy beaches and the beautiful scenery.

How to get there

Fly to Alghero or Cagliari airport with Ryanair or Easy jet , by car to Riola is just over one hour drive.
