The ground floor has one double and one twin bedroom, a shower room and kitchenette with French doors that open onto a very large patio area and the garden with a private swimming pool and orange trees. Internal stairs connect the ground floor to the first floor.
The first floor has two double bedrooms, a very large bathroom with double hand basins and a large corner bath and shower unit. There is a spacious, well-equipped kitchen with French doors that open out onto the covered terrace. There is also a utility room with washing machine. The lounge boasts satellite TV, a DVD and Video player and opens out onto the terrace that overlooks the front garden and impressive bar/ BBQ area.
There is plenty of garden furniture for alfresco dining and a large rooftop solarium.

TOTALLY PRIVATE DETACHED TRADITIONAL SPANISH VILLA great for family fun or groups of friends. Built on a very large private plot, the property has gated off-road parking as well as a spacious garage with room for two cars.
The garden is home to a stunning array of luscious, mature plants, shrubs and palm trees as well as a private 10m x 5m swimming pool with Roman steps.
Laze by the pool with a good book, get inspired by the spectacular views, take a stroll round the tranquil countryside or how about and evening meal al fresco with a bottle of the local wine ! Or have fun with the KIds exploring the mountains or swimming.
There is a purpose built bar/ BBQ area and a seated swing with room for three people. With ample outdoor seating space and due to its size and facilities, the garden is ideal for outdoor entertaining and is child friendly.
The gates between the front garden and the swimming pool area is lockable, so as to ensure peace of mind that children cannot get to the swimming pool unattended.

A deposit of £100 per week against breakages and excessive cleaning is required with the the balance of your holiday payment and will be refunded subject to satisfactory property inspection.

The Costa Blanca / Valencia / Alicante Province region


The Costa Blanca region has beautiful weather - an average of 320 days of sunshine - and has been recommended by the World Health Organisation as having one of the most healthiest climates in the world.
For culture lovers, within 30 minutes of driving of Molins, lie tourism treasures. The elegant city of Alicante with its fabulous seafront promenade, imposing castle and stylish shops, the historic city of Murcia - a must see for its Cathedral and plethora of museums and gothic architecture and also the splendid city of Cartagena with one of the most beautiful natural harbours we have seen. Historic Orihuela with its clutch of churches and museums is definitely off the tourist radar. Less than 10 minutes drive it has a fantastic celebration of Easter and the festival Christians versus Moors, Then there's the nearby town of Elche with the largest palm tree plantation in Europe now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. If it's nightlife you hanker for there are plenty of discos, bars and cafes in Torrevieja..boredom is out of the question! Of course, there are many international class golf courses within minutes drive which include the breathtaking La Finca, the magnificently maintained Villa Martin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor for the big hitters!
Molins is only 25 minutes drive from many Blue Flag Beaches such as Campoamor, Cabo Roig, La Zenia and Playa Flamenca which makes it an ideal place to stay for a family holiday. Go beach combing amongst the pine trees and the white sand dunes of nearby Guadamar del Segura - a protected coastal park. The theme park Terra Mittica is within an hour's drive and there is a large waterpark in Torrevieja which is about a 30 minute drive away.
The Orihuela / Molins area
Molins is a sleepy Spanish village set in rural countryside. It is only a 10 minute drive from Orihuela which is a lovely town to explore with lots of history. It has a tourist information office and you will find someone there who speaks English.
There is a train station in Orihuela and trains run frequently to Murcia and Alicante. The fare is only a few Euros and is very quiet and comfortable, giving you a day off from driving.
Orihuela has a market day on Tuesday which is always good to look around. Take the shopping trolley from the house as you will always buy too much to carry – the fruit and vegetables are fresh and good value. Get there early to park. I would recommend buying a freshly roasted chicken before you leave the market, they are normally filled with garlic and herbs and make a delicious lunch with salad and fresh crusty bread, with a glass of wine.
Casa Azahar in Molins is for people seeking a quiet, very Spanish holiday, without a hectic noisy night life. Ideal for those that wish to sit by the pool and relax, or for families wishing to spend time together, having fun in the pool and using the BBQ.
